âIt's directly on the beach which is gorgeous and there is a hidden cove around the corner there is also easy access to Long Beach, so when the beach is in the shade you can go to Long Beach. You can use the accommodations canoe to go round the island to another gorgeous deserted beach. I like the fact the restaurant has sand underfoot. It feels quirky and authentic. The rooms are massive and the decor is very tasteful. â

âHIGHLY recommend Horizon Beach Resort Koh Jum. We stayed in the deluxe sea view bungalow. This was the nicest accommodation we stayed at during our month in Asia. The rooms were CLEAN, even to my standards and the staff is so kind. The island is so quiet and peaceful, with countless restaurants nearby. â

âKoh Jum seems to be under the radar for most folks traveling koh Lanta. Wich is good cause it has stayed a very quiet place. A little tropical paradise. We stayed 3 nights on Joy Bungalows. The cottage was likely their cheapest, basicly a bed with mosqito net. No ac/fan. Still, great value for the money. You sleep basicly in a jungle /forest or by the sea depending wich cottage you get. The sounds are inredible at night time. The dogs and chicken will likely wake you up early.

The beach right in front of the hotel is beautiful and offers great snorkeling opportunities.
All in all, for the price and star rating, this place is excellent value for money. Highly recommend!"

The room had strong smelling fregrance bags, that we had to throw out. Towels were brown in colour. Loud AC. Mosquitos got in the room from the cracks of the doors. Loud noise from speakers every morning at 5am. Hard bed. Reseption was hard to find. Rooms next to abandoned buildings. Still liveable."
