Home on the Green

  • If you are shopping, golfing, hiking, fishing, boating, sky diving or doing any of the other fabulous things Salado has to offer, you will need a beautiful space to relax in. Coffee overlooking the green. Grill out with the creek view. Wine while watching the sunset. Or cook inside in the furnished kitchen. Up to six guests will enjoy this three bedroom two bath vacation getaway. If you have some work to do, you'll enjoy the high speed WiFi. If you don't, you'll enjoy the streaming TV service.

    Take a short car ride to Main Street where you will find boutiques for a relaxing afternoon shopping. You'll also find several local wineries (such as Lonestar, Axis, or Salado Winery) or enjoy a beer brewed locally at Barrow Brewing, or one of the 40 brews on tap at Chupacabra. While you're in town, enjoy fine dining at The Barton House or Alexander's.

    Please be respectful of the neighbors (especially the shared-driveway neighbor). Park only in the following areas:
    * 2 Spots in parking pad in front of walkway
    * 2 spots in front of garage door
    * 1 spot in garage
    * 2nd spot in garage if you fold up the ping-pong table

    The Entire House

    You will have your own unique door code for a contact-free checkin and stay. But the host is only 30 minutes away if you need anything. Contact us should you need anything!

    If you pull yourself away from the beautiful creek view, you'll see you are directly across from the Mill Creek Country Club. Enjoy a breakfast taco at Dos Hermanas restaurant (inside the Country Club). Or stroll through the quiet streets for an afternoon hike. But remember the deer have right of way!

    Salado is only 49 minutes from Waco. If you'd like to visit Chip and Joanna at Magnolia Market Silos.

    Or head south and you'll be in Georgetown for some wonderful shopping and dining on the square.

    We just added a hot tub! Come try it out!

    Did I mention the massage chair! What a great way to wind down at the end of the day. Check it out!

    If you need the Pack-n-Play Crib please let us know so we can have it ready for you.

We had a wonderful stay at this property and would absolutely return. The home was exceptionally clean, beautifully appointed, and clearly well cared for. Everything we needed was provided, and the layout worked perfectly for a family stay.The location is excellent—very convenient to shopping, golf, and great restaurants—yet it still feels peaceful and relaxing. The views from the property are terrific and made mornings and evenings especially enjoyable.The beds were extremely comfortable, which made it easy to get a great night’s sleep after long days out. The hot tub was a real highlight and a perfect way to unwind.Most importantly, the hosts were outstanding—responsive, thoughtful, and clearly committed to making sure guests have a great experience.Overall, a fantastic property that is ideal for families or anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located place to stay. Highly recommended.

We just had a quick overnight stay, late in and early out. I wish we would’ve had more time to enjoy it. The master suite was really nice, the two head shower was HUGE. Nice hot tub in a secluded spot on the deck overlooking a neat approach to a green over the creek below. Wish we would’ve had time to enjoy it. If we’re ever in the area again that will be our go to for sure. The hosts were great, it was easy peasy lemon squeezy. Thanks Todd and Cindy!

My wife and I stayed in Salado for two nights and couldn't have picked a better place to lay our heads! Extremely close to all of the restaurants and shops but secluded enough to feel like your own private getaway. A amenities. The back porch and hot tub area are absolutely beautiful to relax and unwind in and the hosts are the friendliest and most accommodating I have ever experienced on Vrbo. We can't wait to go back in the spring! Thank you Todd and Cindy!

Great Birthday Staycation!

Great spot for a quick getaway!Enjoyed staying here for a birthday staycation, had a blast renting a golf cart for a couple of days and just enjoying the area!Spent some time in the creek, and spent some time in the hot tub!

Great trip to Salado

Enjoyed our visit in the city and our rental was very nice.Over looked the golf course and was clean and well kept. The decor was simple and nice; we all agreed that it was nice with less stuff than more. Some of the rentals have so much decor it is over powering.
