Amazing property—honestly even bigger and more impressive in person. The level of detail and care the owners put into designing and maintaining the home is immediately noticeable, and it creates such a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere.We hosted a 80th birthday here with family flying in from over the country, and it could not have been a better fit. There is an incredible amount of space—everyone had their own areas to relax, while the central gathering space felt warm, inviting, and easily accommodated our group. The large kitchen, double refrigerators, and ample prep space made hosting seamless.The theater downstairs exceeded expectations, and the pond was such a special feature—we spent hours fishing and just enjoying the setting.The location is great, and the home was exceptionally clean. As a VRBO owner myself, I pay close attention to details like bed quality and bathroom cleanliness, and this home truly stands out. It’s clear the property is very well cared for.Highly recommend.

This is one the best properties for hosting a large group. Anytime we are in the Monmouth area we look forward to staying at the Fern Hill Lodge…lots of space, lots to do, lots of beauty, and lots of nature; we’ve made countless memories and look forward to making many more during future stays. We gathered for a three-generation family weekend and loved our stay at The Lodge. The setting is peaceful and gorgeous, and the house is spacious, with many different areas indoors and outdoors to relax alone or gather for conversation. The place lives up to the photos!Polly has thought of everything to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. Great directions for accessing the property. The place is exceptionally equipped with everything you need, and things are helpfully labeled. Super attention to detail. Communication with Polly was easy and quick. We had just one hiccup with the WiFi, messaged Polly, and she immediately fixed it remotely.This was our first stay at The Lodge, and, because it out-performed by far other large properties we've rented for this gathering, we're already booked again for next summer!

An amazing slice of paradise

We stayed here for a mini family reunion and wedding. It was super nice; even better than pictured. Everything was very well maintained and beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment.The lodge is really solidly constructed. No squeaky stairs! It was nice and quiet and very peaceful with plenty of places for introverts to hide when they were talked out. The kids loved the theater. I'd love to stay here again!

Wonderful in Every Way

The lodge sits on a quiet and serene property with beautiful views. We enjoyed seeing the wildlife (deer and birds). The home provided everything our group needed. It is spacious and comfortable. A gift from God!! Perfect gathering place to celebrate Grammy and Pop Pop's 60th Anniversary.

This property afforded a place to gather family that doesn't see each other as often as we'd like - Oregon and California. We were blessed by the theatre to share a slide show of our times togther through the years. The house is perfect for games, one on one fellowship with those we haven't seen. A perfect place to share our lives as we pray and enjoy the beauty of His creation.

Wedding Weekend

The house and property were positively breathtaking! This oasis was perfect for our group to prepare for and rest after my son’s wedding. The house is so spacious and comfortable. Communication with the host was perfect. So very glad we found this gem for the big weekend!
