”Old rundown hotel. Bed was ok, bathroom needed update, peeling wallpaper, rusty door etc. Didn't bother with the so called breakfast. Microwaved egg omelets, no thank you. Walls are thin, you can hear everything. Sounded like people above us were a herd of elephants, loud banging, thumping , voices etc. I called front desk to complain. Noise started around 11:30pm, finally quiet by 1:30 am until 8am. ”

”I didn’t like to be honest. The phone line didn’t work and the tv didn’t either the first night. I had to ask to get it fixed. The tv had an adapter that looked like a camera and it scared me for a min. Till I covered it.”

”Whenever I'm traveling thru Southern CT on business, the Lamplighter is my go to for staying over. Clean room. Comfortable bed, plenty of Hot Water, microwave and mini fridge, good TV. Reasonable price, close to the highway. Restaurants within walking distance. It has it all.”

”I stayed here, but there was no lantern or scissors provided, and the lantern in my friend’s unit was broken too. So I asked for a replacement, but I was told there wasn’t one available and to just deal with it. I asked them to help resolve the issue, but all they said was to talk to the manager in the morning. I think that is very poor customer service.”

”The room was way cleaner than anticipated honestly very surprising, sheets felt genuinely clean and the AC worked well, breakfast was good, and continuously maintained, and the staff was really nice, would definitely go there again!”

”The front desk, check-in clerk was very rude and not nice at all. If you have a question for her, she snaps at you doesn’t matter if the question was dumb or very important. She just snapped. She also snapped and asked about the Wi-Fi how she couldn’t get on her own effing work computer because the Wi-Fi was terrible. That’s not the answer I was looking for And not only was she rude to me, but another customer had a problem with the toilet being clogged, and she handed him a plumber and told him...

”The overall appearance of the hotel seemed to be a bit run down. Our room had several spots where the ceiling looked like there was water damage and it was not repaired. Breakfast area didn't seem well maintained. I expected more from a Hyatt.”

”The room was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The pool is around back and you have to walk all the way around the building to get to it but that said though not convenient, it was private back there. Shower was adequate but not great. All and all good experience and very reasonably priced.”

”mold on the bathroom ceiling, shower curtain too short for the tub causes water to spill out electric outlets in the bathroom not working broken furniture, such as a chair at the desk and the cabinet door a weird odor like marijuana when you first walk into the room, the room is too small for two queen beds. We mentioned this to the office attendant about the broken furniture and no electric electrical and he said he would look into it, but did not.”

”It was very spacious and the beds were very comfortable and clean bathroom was also very clean it had towels and i had a microwave and fridge. Overall i think everything was good”
