”Fabulous hotel with great views”

”Room was clean but stair carpets were smelly and dirty also skirting board gathered lots of dust. Room curtains had dirty stains on them, I told staff but nothing was done about it. No lifts, had to go up the stairs to the third floor than 4th floor. Downstairs and reception area looked very clean and inviting, but up the stairs were dirty snd smelly. Dirty towel left in hanging in the bathroom, dirty nappies left in the bin, bedding were clean but pillows and duvet had bad smell.”

”This is no longer even a hotel, it is now a hostel run by a German A & O Hostels group. Everything you would expect to get in a hotel was gone. There are no amenities whatsoever in the rooms, there is no housekeeping, the staff is sub par as well as the breakfast which was terrible and lacking. I have stayed here multiple times when it was a Novotel hotel, and the change is staggering. The only thing not changed is the pricing. Will not be coming back.”
