Bright Star Ranch is a pet friendly custom log home on 40 private acres with a hot tub for your post-ski or hike soak. Your spectacular mountain views include the Collegiate Peaks, San Juans and Sangre de Christo mountain ranges - truly majestic scenery!

This beautiful home offers:

~ Large master suite with king bed, private balcony, seating area and private bath with large whirlpool tub and separate shower.

~ Two more full baths and two additional bedrooms, offering another King and one queen

~ Great Room with a beautiful stone fireplace open to the chef's kitchen, and above to the loft with a library with interesting reads and comfortable lounging.
!This home does not have air-conditioning

~Wireless internet, satellite TV
*No Over Occupancy of Guest

All Pinon homes are "vacation ready" with a fully appointed kitchen, towels and linens. Hand, dish and shower soaps are provided, as well as toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, salt and pepper, coffee filters and laundry soap.

Pinon Vacation Rentals provides guest support from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 pm.

All guests are responsible for reading Welcome Book “Check-In and Check-Out instructions.

~Acceptance of the terms of the Rental Agreement and all Rental Policies is ASSUMED at the time of reservation. 24 to 48 hours before arrival, check-in instructions will be sent to guest.

**This home is rented for personal vacation use only. Any other use including large gatherings or parties is not allowed. Renters must abide by all rental terms and policies, as well as all local applicable property covenants, restrictions, regulations and laws. Any evidence of smoking, use of firearms, driving ATV's other than in the driveway as access only, unapproved pets, unauthorized use of property grounds, damage resulting from violation of rental policies, and/or excessive mess may result in charges up to $3000.00 to the Guest's credit card on file, as authorized by Guest's approval of the terms of the Rental Agreement.

Reservations may be canceled more than 30 days prior to check-in with full refund. 14 to 29 days prior to arrival 50% refund. No refunds will be issued after this cut-off date for any reason. No refunds will be issued due to weather conditions, spotty internet service or interruption of service.

Excellent place to stay! If you love 'country' this is definitely the place to stay! Beautiful home, well kept and clean. Once arriving and staying the first night, the hostess sent a text to check on us and make sure everything was going good and to see if we needed anything. The area around is was absolutely beautiful and our adventurous side was able to go hiking and exploring. Will definitely book this place again next time we are in the area!

Amazing experience!

This place lived up to its listing. A large, private ranch with a beautiful home full of amenities and tremendous views. Perfection! We saw elk and deer on the ranch. We enjoyed the hot tub while watching the sun set. Owners were in close contact - we appreciated their care.

Loved the location and the property

Views were gorgeous, and location was centrally located to many of the places we wanted to visit. The house was spacious and clean but a few things could have been improved. The linens were thin and some were shredded. The lighting in some rooms really needed brighter bulbs, the kitchen was well stocked and even had spices provided. We especially liked the fenced in area for our dogs. Our biggest issue was that the hot water did not work in one bathroom sink and that was very inconvenient

Fantastic Getaway for couples & Families!!

We loved everything about our stay!! The cabin and property were impressive, and the view took our breath away when we drove up. We were lucky enough to experience a small snowstorm while here, and we enjoyed it in the warmth of the hot tub. It was just the two of us this time, but we plan to return as a big family group as well, and there’s plenty of space to accommodate! The living room is great, and there’s an assortment of games and books on both levels that we made good use of. The master bath tub was spectacular! The bed was super comfy and there were lots of extra blankets and pillows in the closets. WiFi was great and the smart tv was great for movie night. We enjoyed the area very much and we look forward to coming back!!

Wonderful Property!

Bright Star Ranch is an amazing property! Wonderfully spacious cabin home, large fenced-in backyard for the pups, absolutely beautiful views of the Salida snow-capped mountain tops! Easy drive to both BV and Salida, while being up and away from 285 highway. Great hot tub in the snow. Recommend highly! And, will be back!

Amazing place, pictures don't do it justice

Found this property while looking for a quiet getaway for me and a few friends. We were not disappointed, the location provided plenty of views and some privacy. The cabin was impressive and there were plenty of rooms and beds for each of us (5) and more. Will be looking to rent again for future get togethers.

We loved staying at this property, it was quiet, private and much more room that expected. We also appreciated being able to take our dog and having a fenced outdoor space for him to run. The views were amazing and the location- close to BV and Salida was perfect. Property management communication was excellent.

Beautiful all log home

The best thing is the all pine log interior. Amazing architecture and so Colorado! We were impressed by the spaciousness of the property and the home that has room for 12 in 5 bedrooms. The furnishings are older but very comfortable with plenty of seating. I especially liked that there was only one t.v. in a t.v. room so peple interacted more instead of watching t.v.. The 3 beds we used were very comfortable. The 3 bathrooms were serviceable though not updated. Masterbath was very spacious. It's a perfect family reunion gathering place! It also accomodated our dogs well with a large fenced in area in the yard. The large patio with comfortable furniture and a large table were great and a place to hang out and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The kitchen was nice and well equiped. We appreciated the guidebook provided but did not see the welcome package as noted on the backdoor. There are several notes taped up as reminders of house rules which is always appreciated! There are a few upkeep items like a back door that we could not lock and the large trash barrel outside that is not bear proof. But it was a really nice place to spend a few days.

Get away from it all

This place was amazing. Very large house on 40 acres near the mountains! Couldn’t get any better. The house has lots of space and amenities. The kitchen was fully stocked and ready to go! The views were great and the location was super quiet. If you’re looking for a place for a large family secluded from people and town noise, this is the place for you.
