”I love staying here. I was at a workshop so went into sleep and got up in the morning. It was quiet. The coffee area was well stocked. The Guest prior to Me had unplugged the gas fireplace which heats the room. I did not know what was wrong with it.It was promptly addressed when I let them know. ”We had high hopes for our stay at the Salida Inn and Monarch Suites, but unfortunately the experience fell short in several areas. ”The motel was little bit rundown. We almost run out of toilet paper as they only provided 1 roll. The manager said us a barbecue works, but the gas was out, and he was not willing to do anything for it (even though the gas station was 2 min walk away). Overall mediocre experience, but I guess that’s what you can expect for the price.”

”Mountain Goat Lodge is an absolute GEM of a bed and breakfast! Located at the base of the Sawatch Mountain Range, this charming inn is home to a small herd of friendly goats, a seriously fantastic breakfast spread and the absolutely most comfortable beds. We feel lucky to have found this incredible place and made sure to purchase their delectable homemade goats milk yogurt (10/10 recommend.) My husband and I cannot wait to stay again!! ”
