Ryokanit – Samarkand

”Room was clean, provided dental kit and hygiene”

”Central location and staff spoke English and were helpful”

”Very good property . Rooms have beautiful decorative details and comfortable amenities. Very friendly staff . Hotel is close to all the main places to visit in Samarkand, just a few steps from Necrópolis Sha-I- Zinda and other attractions. They offered free bottles of water and tour options . Very good selection to stay in Samarkand.”

”The hotel has glitz and glamor and the location is good with other restaurants close by. There is a very good restaurant at the hotel also but I did not eat there. There is one thing that needs to be addressed. My tub was very high and there were no grab bars. It looks like there were some earlier but removed later. Also there was a rainfall shower but the glass door did not even cover half the tub area. I used the hand held shower very carefully and even then a little water spilled over.”

”There were insects on the bed”

”Great massage at the spa. Good to be away from where all the tourists are. Good breakfast.”

”Basic hotel, location is a bit far from Registan but walkable. Restaurants close by. Staff didn't speak English, so if you don't speak Uzbek or Russian, you have to use translator. However, service was very good and I was able to check out late. Breakfast was basic but good.”

”The Afrosiyob is a classic hotel, meticulously clean, with some of most helpful staff I've encountered in hotel industry. They maintain a boutique feel that encompasses the beauty of Samarkand, combined with comforts of modern life. We LOVE staying here.”
