Unfortunately for us the apartment was super hot when we got there - there was no air condition or a fan so we had to sleep with the window open. There was some traffic noices and construction sounds that didn't help. Check out is at 10 o'clock which is quite early an should be taken into consideration before booking. â
âWe had the most amazing stay at the Arctic Gourmet Cabin. The cabins are cozy, comfy bed, beautiful views. We enjoyed relaxing with a sauna and hot top. The 4 course meal with wine pairing was one of the most outstanding meals I've ever had. I highly recommend treating yourself to this experience! also a fabulous spot to see the northern lights!â
âI stayed in a glass igloo and it was amazing. The serene surroundings made for a peaceful stay. A moose passed by my igloo several times during my stay and I was able to get some decent photos of the aurora borealis. In the winter you can take a short walk across the river and see the sites of JakkasjĂ€rvi, which includes the world famous Ice Hotel. The staff were kind and extremely helpful. The igloo, lounge, and shared bathrooms were immaculate. The provided breakfast was minimal but...
