”Lovely venue slightly away from the city center and other hot spots, so expect a lot of metro or taxi rides to get to where you want to go. The flipside is, our room that was directly facing the intersection in front of the hotel, was lovely and quiet with the exception of the occasional heavy accelerations. ”Totem is a were nice hotel with friendly staff and great location. Metro station is just one block away. I really can recommend it. Only disappointment was the breakfast. Hotel should really change the breakfast concept. It was included to my room price but it was so frustrating that I used it only two times during my four night stay.”

”Es un hotel clásico de Madrid. Tiene habitaciones renovadas en algunos pisos. Las camas no tienen almohadas individuales sino almohadones grandes que son un poco incómodos porque son muy delgados y no cumplen su función, pero eso es de gustos. En cuanto a la terraza y la piscina increíble su espacio y servicio. El gimnasio y spa de súper lujo, son una buena opción. ”

”An okay hotel, but I expected more for the price. I think the largest drawback was the pool and some of the staff who didn't really speak English. We expected some nice moments in the sun by the pool, but were thrown out because the sunbeds (which are anyway far from fancy) need a reservation, and no one told us that (say, when checking in!) and you can only reserve them for one hour (!) at a time. And on top of this, communicating with the staff by the pool, or even ordering a beer was...

”Wonky beds were not really great.
Location is great for travellers that prefer an area with lots of great restaurants close by.
Pair of Sony Linkbuds disappeared from the bedside table, so the use of safebox highly recommended also for lower value items in this hotel.”

"Yövyimme kolme yötä ja viihdyimme ilmastoidussa hotellissa erittäin hyvin alusta alkaen. Henkilökunta oli avuliasta ja mukavaa. Aamiainen oli erittäin hyvä ja maukas. "when booking the room information said that there was air conditioning, but there was not. The room was really hot, even if we switched the heating first to minimum and then completely off. You could only sleep when we moved the beds to the front of the window and opened the window. Respa ignored our complaint, they just asked us to adjust the heating ourselves. There was a night club next door, so we couldn't sleep much during our vacation when we had to keep the window open.
The quality of cleaning was not good. On a couple of occasions, towels had also been left unbrought. General facilities worn out, e.g. holes in the walls. When taking a short shower, the water flowed into the hall. Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Breakfast was the only decent thing.
