”The hotel is nice and very clean. Breakfast was good with enough options. The room was maybe a little bit worn out (mainly the kitchen) but it didn't bother us. Super quiet. Part of the reception staff would maybe need an improvement in their attitude, a few of them were not very welcoming and it seemed that they were not very keen on resolving the customer's questions. After all many times the quality of the customer service is what makes the difference.”

”The hotel was exceptionally clean and quiet despite nearby construction outside the building, and facelift renovations within. It had a real contemporary feel. The staff was helpful in resolving a minor reservation snag.”

”Hotel is near the airport so,it is a good stop for amfew days when you are heading somewhere else in CR. Our room for two adults and two kids was the biggest one we have ever seen in a hotel. And breakfast was great, lots of fresh fruits and warm dishes, which you could order from the menu. Hotel also had a nice pool, friendly and helpfull staff and a gym.”

”My four-night stay at Hotel Don Ernesto La Chimba was wonderful, highlighted by the friendly staff and the absolutely excellent breakfast spread. The location is incredibly peaceful, tucked away in the jungle yet conveniently just 30 minutes from the airport. While some reviewers highlight that the rooms aren't Ritz-Carlton quality, I think it is important to note that the prices certainly reflect that, and the hotel offers tremendous value for an authentic and relaxing stay.”

”Small room but clean and had everything you need! This was our 5th and final Hotel of our stay in CR and the only hotel with conditioner and a bidet. Towels were the softest as well and the pillows were perfect. Staff was gracious and very helpful. Mini bar type fridge in lobby with gluten free and alcohol options. Being near the airport there was some noise but minimal and the pools little waterfall helped mitigate that. Overall, great place near the airport, and 5 minites from Jumbo car...

”Grocery store opposite to the hotel was great. Neat room, good view to the mountains. Closeness of the airport did not show at all. Good breakfast with some variety. The only negative was that there was no hot water in the shower.”
