The hotel was clean, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. However, I chose this property based on its reviews, and my experience did not fully match them.
I arrived early for check-in and understand the room wasn’t ready, but staff knew I was already in town. When I returned a few minutes after 3 pm, the process felt completely transactional—no welcome, just my card taken and keys handed over.
When I got to the room, a maintenance staff member told me to be careful with the walls because they had just been painted. That was surprising and inconvenient, as we had to be extra careful not to get paint on our luggage.
Although the room was clean and comfortable, outside noise was a major issue. I couldn’t sleep the first night—it was so loud I thought someone was inside the room. Better soundproofing would help.
Breakfast was below expectations, with old fruit (blackened bananas, aging apples, dried oranges).
Most concerning was an incident with our car—someone may have tried to break into it or hit it. I asked to check cameras but was told the manager was unavailable (before 3:30 pm). I left my contact info since I was leaving at 2 am and have not received any follow-up.
Overall, while the room itself met basic expectations, the noise, breakfast quality, and lack of response regarding a serious issue were disappointing.
