Booked Hotel Valencia for our 10 year wedding anniversary. We booked for two nights. Check in is at 4pm, we arrived at 5pm and our room was not ready. We had dinner reservations at 6 and needed to shower and change for dinner. I asked if they could give us an estimated time it would be ready and was told âthere are 8 rooms ahead of yours that need to be cleaned so it depends how fast housekeeping works.â So we sat in the lobby for over an hour waiting on our room to be ready. They did end up comping breakfast for our inconvenience so that was nice. We did have to change our reservation for dinner. The ice machine was not working, there was a sign on the door to call guest services and they would bring ice up. We called, they said they would bring it right up and it never came. I ended up having to go down to the bar to get ice. I had breast milk that had to stay cold.
We had drinks and appetizers at the bar one night and they were great!
The beds were comfy and everything was really clean. The hotel itself is beautiful and most of the staff were very friendly.
