San Antonio is served by VIA Metropolitan Transit. While there are bus stops along the main nearby roads (like Potranco Rd), public transit in this part of the city is generally less frequent than in the downtown core.

•Recommendation: For the best experience, we highly recommend a rental car or rideshare (Uber/Lyft) to save time, especially when heading to Lackland AFB or SeaWorld.

Getting Here from San Antonio International Airport (SAT)

•Rideshare (Recommended): Uber and Lyft are readily available at the airport. The ride to our home typically takes 25–30 minutes depending on traffic.

•Car Rental: If you plan on exploring the city or visiting the Hill Country, renting a car at the airport’s Consolidated Car Rental Facility is your most flexible option.

•Driving Directions: From the airport, you’ll take US-281 S to I-35 S, then merge onto Hwy 90 W toward Lackland AFB, eventually heading toward Loop 1604. It’s a straightforward drive on major highways.

In compliance with San Antonio city ordinances, guests must follow all short-term rental guidelines provided in our welcome manual. Please ensure the total number of guests matches your reservation. As a reminder, smoking is prohibited inside the home. We provide a starter kit of essentials like coffee and toiletries to get your Texas getaway off to a great start!
To ensure a great experience for all, please respect our home and neighbors. Only registered guests are allowed on the property; no unauthorized visitors or parties. No smoking or vaping is permitted inside the house. Please keep noise levels down during quiet hours (10 PM – 8 AM). We love our pets, but this is a pet-free home to accommodate guests with allergies. Please report any damages immediately. Lastly, ensure all trash is bagged and placed in the outdoor bins before you depart.
