We had a great stay. The location of the property was perfect and close for quick trips to the Riverwalk, the Pearl district, the Alamadome and the Alamo as well as great restaurants and local places. The property was great to have all of us together but also with good size rooms when people need space or rest. Overall, it was exactly what we were looking for to enhance our stay in San Antonio.

Good stay

Host was very communicative and held great communication throughout our stay. The location was close to everything we needed and the home was perfect for us. I will note to be prepared about the skinny parking situation, we came into town with a dually truck but as long as you can back in you’ll be fine.

Great location & home

There is a lot to like about this home! It is 5-10 minutes away from seemingly everything, and it is laid out very comfortably for a family with dogs. The dog door is extremely convenient and significantly reduces how much you need to manage animals during your stay. The kitchen was well-stocked for our needs, with a stock of condiments, spices, and cleaning supplies already present. We were honestly not home much during our trip except to sleep, but the house was very clean, quiet, private, and comfortable for our needs. Our only issue was communication related to check-in. Our booking listing in the app and our confirmation emails all said we would receive the door lock code approximately 24 hours in advance of check-in. We did not. This meant we were at the point of leaving for the trip and still did not know whether or how we would get in the home. We sent multiple messages to the host through the app as well as several calls to the phone number listed with VRBO, and none were answered before we had to leave our house to start the drive. We ended up having to find a live support number with VRBO, and they were able to get a response from the host less than an hour before our check-in time. Ultimately, we still really enjoyed the home and location, but the communication issue did add a lot of stress to the beginning of our trip. I would absolutely stay here again, but getting that code at least 24 hours in advance as advertised would have made for a much smoother start.

Checking out downtown San Antionio

The location to the river walk, Pearl, La Villita, and Historic Market we’re all good. We came in for a long weekend and although it’s not walking distance we found most Lyft rides to be about $5-7 bus downtown parking $35! The house is new & clean. Lots of cooking utensils. I loved that the personal products, soaps ect were organic! There was a nice selection of pantry items. More than most VRBO. And a full bar! Even thought we didn’t use it, it was a nice touch.
