”We stayed there two nights during our roadtrip. The hotel was quite nice. We had to be in contact to the hotel beforehand several times, since the reception closes already at 5pm. The rooms were spacious but a bit worn out, our friends bathroom door was stucked, but luckily the staff was still there when it happened. There was an odd moldy odour in the room. Otherwise the location was good, near the ocean and Monterey and the center of Pacific Grove can be easily reached by bus or by car. ”

”I am a woman who often travels alone. This place was absolutely adorable. The room was super clean and comfortable - especially the bed. Best mattress I've slept on in forever. Parking was right outside my room door I felt very safe and it was so close to Fisherman's Wharf where I went to two consecutive days for whale watching trips. I would absolutely recommend 100%. Will definitely stay there again.”

”We did not like that there were no fireplace as shown on the website. The room was extremely small. No room for an open wheel chair! We asked for a room just a little bigger than room 311 and they said sorry there’s nothing else available.
There was a stained decorative pillow on the bed. There was such bulky furniture in that small room!. We only came to realize we were set up in the oldest part of the hotel. We just stayed there due to it being the 4th of July weekend. We were not wanting...

”We stayed in the King Cottage, and we loved it! The bed was comfortable, there was a desk, couch, fireplace, closet, and kitchenette. The restroom had a porcelain tub and was as spotless as was the rest of the cottage. The property was beautiful and the landscaping was breathtaking with all the variety of plants, flowers, and fountains. We could smell lavender all day! Management was friendly and helpful, and there were pastries, teas, coffee, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, and cookies out to enjoy...
