”The property is very nice, comfortable and 24 hr gate security. No one can and will get past the entry gate if you are not a guest. Very quiet, clean and AC worked wonderfully 💯. The water went out a few times but this comes with the country happenings .. Staff very nice and helpful. You will need a car or UBER to move around. FYI driving in Costa Rica is a nightmare .. please consider your plans. I am a native but live in the US.. would definitely stay again . ”

”This home is AMAZING! It is exactly as pictured and was perfect for our group. There were two families (eight people total) with plenty of rooms and bathrooms. ”Casa Anaka is a beautiful place to stay in Manuel Antonio. It was spotless and well stocked with everything we needed. Camilo, the property concierge,was so helpful from booking our excursions, greeting us upon arrival, to answering random questions with rapid response time! Housekeeping arrived every other day and she even did our personal laundry for us if we needed it. The pool was a great place to relax after a day of excursions. We loved it!!!!”

”We saw amazing wildlife right from our house. There were monkeys ,and sloth, two of them, deer and toucans, and much more. We also had an amazing view of the Pacific as shown in the pictures. Laura was a great help. She went above and beyond to make our stay fantastic. As mentioned before the driveway is very steep and wouldn’t be the best for people who aren’t good with driving on steep drives. Overall or stay was fantastic and we plan to return.”

"Starting with the positives: the view was just amazing, from my room I saw both the sea and the jungle, and sitting on the terrace during a thunderstorm, listening the howlers and looking at the scarlet macaws flying from a tree to tree was an incredible experience. I also liked the breakfast and food in general, and the staff was friendly. On the other hand, the room was very basic, only a bed, chair, table and a coffee machine, shampoo and poor quality towels in the bathroom. 2 plastic chairs and a table at the terrace. I had booked a room for 3, with a futon sofa; there was no futon in the room. When I complained about this, they asked why do I need a futon. Well, in principle I would like to get what I pay for. The manager was not ”available” to address my complaint, and also during the check-out the same staff member ignored my complaint. For a price of almost 300$/night I would expect more comfort in the room."
