”The location is the best there is! Having the option to go up the stairs to eat and drink as well is great after a long day of travel. You’re so close to the downtown area and walking is easy in this area. The room was incredibly spacious and had every amenity imaginable. All in all a great stay!”

”We had reserved a room with two queen beds. We went to our room to find a swamp cooler next to the TV and a large fan near the entry. The AC in the room was not functional. The swamp cooler was loud and largely ineffective. We went to the front desk to get another room. The desk clerk told us that no other two queen rooms were available (nor kings). The best she could do was two doubles. As I’m 6’4” a double is about a foot short, so I asked for a refund. The clerk told us that was...

”We enjoyed our stay at the Always Inn very much! Freda was an amazing and welcoming host who enjoyed sharing her property with us. And Sunday breakfast with her definitely needs to be experienced; an amazing quantity of delicious foods that took up the entire table top! We'll be visiting again soon!”

”When we checked into our room we didn't have a tub/shower as reservations had stated. They did give us another room after about 40 mins later but I had to go down stairs to find out what was going on. The attitude of the one woman behind the desk was not caring at all. Next room they gave us came with a tub/shower as promised but NO balcony. In the morning went down stairs to get a cup of coffee for my wife and self and NO creamers so I asked the man behind the counter if he had any and was told...

” Easy parking, fresh bedding, clean room, ocean view over the HWY, bring ear plugs if your sensitive to traffic, great value for the location. Looks a little like Santorini with the blue and white painting vibe. ”

”It was clean and good location. No coffee in tooms”

”Menu was basic. Room clean but dated with wash basin in bedroom . Pillows were small cushions. ”

”Occasional bugs would show up in the unit. No weatherstripping on the bottom of the entrance door so there’s about a quarter inch opening at the bottom so nothing stopping the bugs from outside from coming in. Unit is very basic, bed was comfortable.”

”The building and room were excellent. I parked off street and was steps from my room. I ordered a pizza and the delivery was smooth! The bed was amazing and I loved the sheets! The bathroom is upgraded and nicely done. I had an appointment early and the Villa is centrally located in San Clemente and the traffic was good too! I enjoyed my stay and will return! Christy B”
