”The hotel is perfectly located in the center of town. The room had a balcony and hammock, overlooking the harbor and ocean. Daily housekeeping and fresh drinking water were provided. Breakfast was basic but adequate, as is typical of South American hotels. We had an afternoon ferry, so we had access to the pool, towels, and coffee and tea. There were two pools, and a pleasant garden.”

”What a great stay. Alfredo met us when we arrived and immediately offered us a ripe banana from his trees. After a few minutes of talking (Spanish) he brought to our very clean, very spacious rooms. Both had AC but we barely needed it because it was late June. He acts as a taxi and is about the same cost as any other taxi.
