”Amazing property. Have stayed before and will be back because everything here is always perfect. The hotel smells amazing. The hotel bar is top notch and the attached restaurants/bars are really great too and offer amazing food. My favorites are the boozy milkshakes at the 24 hr diner in the lobby and anything from Xijote. Not to mention all the shampoos, soap, etc. is Diptyque branded which is so luxurious! Lafayette is on the forefront of San Diego staying classy!”

”It was a perfect standard casual hotel for the night. Clean and spacious, the customer service was impeccable because they were extremely sweet and accommodating. It was in a clean, safe location and was right in back of a convenience /liquor store and cute little restaurant on the side of it. I would most definitely stay here again! ”

”I really enjoyed my 2 night stay here. I was in town for a work event. Location is great, walking distance to shops and restaurants in Old Town. Also a quick 10 min drive to Hillcrest, Little Italy or Balboa Park...VERY WELL LOCATED! The room was very spacious, clean and very simple. AC worked great. The room I stayed in was at the end of the hall on 2nd floor next to the utility room and had windows facing the street. Other rooms have windows facing the hallways where you need to keep...
