”Such a perfect little spot in a great location. Excellent communication and accommodating for an early check in. So walkable and lovely neighborhood, was able to do the batteries to bridge hike from there, which was fantastic. Breakfast was fantastic!!”

”Excellent parking. I was surprised to return to my room and find the rooms are cleaned daily and new towels. The area is great for dining and very safe to walk around. Staff was very helpful. The trip was to support my granddaughter having surgery at UCSF Benioff. Driving to the hospital on 16th or 17th was recommended -it was a straight shot. Thanks for the excellent recommendation. ”

”Another great stay at Parker House! Holiday party in the City and it’s location is very walkable and convenient. Staff is so helpful and go beyond to assist. The garden and grounds are lovely. Breakfast is continental but the bagels and other baked goods are high-end and fresh. Yogurt, cereal, granola and hard boiled eggs beautifully presented. Some construction to keep the place ship-shape, but did not bother us. Happy to return.”

”Overall The Grove was a great stay. The staff is friendly, rooms are clean/comfortable & their check in/check out is simple. I appreciate that they offer luggage drop off & they also had our room ready a hour sooner than check in. Street parking is difficult to find but I was able to get a spot after doing some loops. I would stay here for my next visit.”

”Such a beautiful place, great location and super nice staff! We also loved the location and the quiet of our room. The staff needs to learn to make a proper espresso, truly. They could up their game on the atmosphere with music in the downstairs and maybe some live greenery. We were there at Christmas and the decorations were dismal. It is just short of how spectacular it could be. It wouldn't take much.”

”I had issues (twice...) with the codes not working when trying to enter my room which made me feel unsafe especially when this happened midnight. Reception is not open after 10pm so I received help via Whatsapp and staff was helpful. Other things that lower my rating were the metal beds that made a lot of noise. Also the whole floor only had 2 showers working. I have never had to wait to shower in hostel before. I wish toilets had more hooks to put towels/clothes in and rooms had mirrors....
