San Gimignano Relax pur!!

Es war wunderbar. Wir hatten die Wohnung im erdgeschoss mit Blick auf den Tuermen und Blick auf einen Garten, relax pur! Wir wurden nett begruesst von Massimo, alles schoen erklaert, privat garage( extra). Die Wohnung war bequem und total sauber, zwei schritte von der Piazzan Cisterna.....tip top!! Dank!! Maria u Otmar

Great location in the centre of town. Massimo is a great host who made it easy to check in and out. Apartment is very comfortable.

The is a great place only steps from the many cafes, restaurants and shops. A perfect place for our family and our son loved the loft for the privacy it gave him. I also can't say enough good things about Massimo. He met us outside the gates, helped us with parking, drove us to the apartment and had some great recommendations for viewpoints, wine spots and restaurants. We would stay there again in an instant. Thanks Massimo!

Fantastic host in a fantastic city

Massimo was a great host. From the pic up until I left. The apartment was great, right in the center of the old town. I can absolutely recommend this place!!!

Fantastic apartment in San Gimignano

Our stay at Fabio’s Apartments was fantastic. We are a family of 5 and it was a comfortable fit. Check-in was easy for a medieval town with no vehicle access. We were given very clear instructions to meet at the town gate and were driven to the garage (which was well worth it). Our bags were then driven close to the room. Sara welcomed us with a local bottle of wine, along with maps, points of interest for the town, grocery and restaurant information. She outlined the towns history and how it is structured which allows for easy understanding when roaming around the town. The rooms are beautifully furnished and the kitchen well fitted out with all the essentials to cook at home, which we did every night. The washer machine was easy to use and very convenient. The location of the apartment was perfect. Piazza della Cisterna was just 20 metres away, and Piazza Duomo only 50 metres, and there was a green space outside the front door. Fabio and Sara were easy to communicate with and their response rate was fast. It was a very memorable place to visit and stay. We would recommend this apartment to everyone, families or couples.

Nice location and hospitality

Fabio apartment is comfortable and spacious. Location is very close to plaza. It is easy to enjoy taking a walk around in the late evening and early morning. Owner of this apartment is very kind and trying to help us to find must-visit location and nice restaurant.

Nice room. Nice iltalian family host. 2 children slept on beds on upper floor of loft. The roof had 2 windows that opened to view of duomo. Can see stars and moon at night. Small balcony but didn’t manage to use because raining. Comfortable stay

Bezaubernde Ferienwohnung in San Ginignano

Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub, das Apartment war bezaubernd und mit allem nötigen ausgestattet, auf 2 Ebenen verteilt. Allerdings ist es für gehbehinderte Personen nur sehr bedingt geeignet, für Rollstuhlfahrer gar nicht. Fabio, seine Frau Daniela und seine Tochter Sara sind herzliche Gastgeber, und ausgesprochen nett. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Outstanding central apartment, quiet terrace

Spacious apartment hidden away a level 30 metres from the main square, yet so quiet. Recently renovated, modern, clean. Spacious rooms. The outdoor terrace, which is private to the apartment, overlooks a large garden and is very welcoming after a busy day exploring the town. Fabio and Sara were excellent communicators, very helpful transferring our luggage and parking our car. The garaging offered as an add on is well worth it - located next to the P3 car park it’s actually in a private lockup facility so very secure and easy to come and go if you are exploring the area (it’s about a 500m walk through the streets of the old town, but as the apartment is in the centre of the ZTL zone there’s no other option if you wish to stay so central). Sara’s restaurant recommendations were excellent - she even called and made reservations for us. I would not hesitate to recommend and I will definitely be back!

Large clean apartment, ideally located

We loved staying at this spacious home for one week and wished we had a longer stay. This was our first booking at Expedia for a private apartment, and a huge success. Apartment was large (900 Sq Ft) with spacious living/dinning room, 2 bedrooms, a good sized bathroom, and a kitchen. Apartment was very clean and roomy with air conditioning. The views out of living room and both bedrooms were just beautiful. We could see the magnificent towers, and a little of green Tuscany countryside when it was clear. We had a rental car and rented a convenient indoor private garage from hosts at a low price of 8 Euro per day. We did not have to fight for a parking space each evening after we returned from touring around Tuscany. We went to the towns recommended by Sarah, all of them were beautiful medieval towns, like Volterra, Pienza, Montepulciano, Siena, etc. We took the bus right outside of the wall and went to Florence as a day trip. It would be very difficult to find parking in Florence. We drove around Chianti wine country on one day. Hosts Fabio and his daughter Sarah were extremely thoughtful people. They prepared a bottle of wine for us when we arrived. They spent an hour orienting us with places to visit near San Gimigiano, restaurants to eat, places for shopping, etc. Fabio even made a reservation at a nice restaurant for us, which had the best wine country view and food, with good local wine at only 9 Euro a bottle. Great Apartment

Great apartment in the center of San Giminiano. Fabio and Sara are so nice and helpful. They give a tourist information of the area for about 30 minutes as soon as we arrived. We stayed 2 adults and 2 kids for 4 nights in July. Location is excellent in the heart of the old city. Private parking was also great. it is about 500m from the apartment. Apartment is on the 3rd floor and there are stairs to climb but it worth it. We had a great vacation and hope to come back. Highly recommended. Thanks Fabio and Sara.

Wonderful apartment in town centre.

Wonderful apartment smack bang in the middle of town but still very quiet. Our host Fabio and his daughter could not have been more helpful and friendly.

Great unique experience

We had a great time and enjoyed staying in Fabios apartment ! It was a Trully unique experience staying right in the main square in this very unique apartment! We did have to pay 8€ for garage ( as it was more convenient.) Fabio and Sarah picked us up, shared a map of the city, had a great recommendation for diner and even made a reservation for us. Very kind and pleasant people. We had a lovely time and would highly recommend it

Great location in centre of San Gimignano

We were met by Fabio on arrival, and his daughter Sarah, who escorted us inside the city wall to the apartment. They then gave us a great briefing on what to do (and not to do) during our stay, the must sees and the best locations. The apartment was very unique but comfortable, full of Tuscan character and charm but will all the necessary amenities and services. Although just around the corner from the public square, 13th century stone walls made our stay very quiet and secluded. Great restaurants, great local sightseeing, local wineries within walking distance from town, all added to a great experience and a great stay.

Very Good Stay

It was very central and clean. Fabio was very helpful, especially for the parking, which may be a problem in San Giminiano. He used his car to take us to the parking place and also to carry the suitcases form there. The only problem is the stairs. 50 stairs to climb. People have to know about it, in case they have a problem.

Excellent Appartment in an Excellent Town

We stayed in San Gimignano on recommendation from a family member and will be forever in his debt for the advice. What an awesome little town. Small enough not to be cramped, but big enough and liely enough to have everything I could ever want. The appartment was absolutely excellent. Fabio and Sara were so helpful and I would not hesitate to recommend both the town and the appartment to anyone.

Very Convenient Central Location and Great Service

The apartment is in a great location in the centre of the town and was very well presented. It had all the facilities we needed for a family of four (including two young children) and was very clean and tidy. Cars are not allowed in the town unless you have a residents permit, but Fabio met us at the parking outside the town and drove us to the apartment with our bags. We saw quite a few people struggling up the hills in the town with their bags, and were quite relieved we didn’t have to do that with Fabio’s personal service! Fabio also gave us some ideas of things to look out for in the town as well as places to eat. He made a diner reservation for us at a nearby restaurant (Rosticceria Pizzeria Chiribiri) , it was a great recommendation as they were serving traditional local dishes at reasonable prices (the wild boar stew was excellent) and without his booking, we wouldn’t have got in. On the morning we left, Fabio collected us and our bags and took us back to our car, he also gave us some great suggestions regarding possible routes and things to see and do on our way to Rome. Fabio was a fantastic host, and made our stay in San Gimignano that much more comfortable. Our only regret was that we didn’t stay and extra night, but that will give us a good excuse to go back.

Holiday in San Gimignano, Tuscany

Fabio was an excellent host and the location and the quality of the accommodation was superb. I would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the centre of a beautiful medieval city of San Gimignano.

ottima sistemazione

L'appartamento La Contessa è situato in un palazzo medioevale in un vicolo tranquillo in pieno centro. Si trova al secondo piano e il balcone affaccia sulla corte interna dello stabile. Silenzioso, pulitissimo e ben equipaggiato. I proprietari, Fabio e Daniela, ci hanno accolto calorosamente , sono disponibilissimi e forniscono preziose informazioni, grazie alla loro eccellente conoscenza del territorio. Sicuramente un'esperienza da ripetere.Si consiglia di prenotare il garage per non sprecare tempo in cerca di un parcheggio(soprattutto nel week end.
