I liked the exiting entrance to the grand very old building, the elevator to take luggage up to the floors, the paintings in the ceilings, the tea and coffee facilities, and the so kind reception. Only issue is the unreliable water pressure. Location, indeed only 10 minutes flat walk to Borselino bus station, a couple of minutes to Stesicoro or wherever. Still, even the Via Minoriti side room was quiet enough. ”

”The hotel is very conveniently and safely located. The airport bus stop is near and there is also a nice park for morning run, if you like. And of cource the shopping/café area starts almost from the main door, yet the street noise doesn't get too bad in the room. The room was large and modern, the breakfast wonderful (also gluten free products, when asking!). The staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay again. ”

”Siivous on täydellinen, mahtava sijainti ja vaikka huone on 1. kerroksessa ja kadun vieressä, huone oli hyvin hiljainen. Mukava huone mutta kuitenkin ei mitään luksusta. Kevyt aamiainen, vain kahvi/tee ja croissanti mutta 50 metri matkalla on mahtava kahvila/ravintola joilla oli erittäin monipuolinen tarjoilu. Menisin uudelleen saman hotelliin.”

”B&B place with private owned couple. Very nice owners and a nice place to stay. Simple breakfast included and rooms were spacious and clean. The owners were nice and helpful. About 25min walk distance to the Catania center railway station and all the sights in the center. Would definently recommend to others. ”

”Owner is very friendly but speaks no English. We were able to communicate with Google translate. Room was great and I had a perfect view of Mt. Etna. Breakfast was not the best. Owner's son asked us what we wanted for breakfast the next day but did not give us what we asked for. Wifi did not work in all the rooms. Hotel is in a great location”

”We stayed for 6 nights. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. It was nice that you could choose your breakfast from the menu to be delivered to your room. The location is really good, close to the main attractions. However, the room was not sound proof as was advertised and in fact we woke up every morning to the noise coming from the corridor. Also, the room was missing a cupboard for clothes. For hygiene, I would have liked the towels to be changed when they were left on the floor.”

”A small hotel on Mt Etna. Two brothers manage the family property and they are both great. The chef (Mateo) serves up delicious dinners. You should know that it is an hour or so from any village. It is about 25 minutes from the main area at the top of Etna and close to amazing country (Etna’s slopes are like nothing I have ever seen). So a wonderful little hotel. Highly recommend it. ”

Aufgrund des Preises hätten wir eine hochwertigere Ausstattung des Zimmers erwartet (bspw. war unser Duschschlauch kaputt) Die Zimmerreinigung war in Ordnung, aber im Bad wurde hauptsächlich um unsere Sachen herumgewischt. Die Außenanlage ist sehr schön und gepflegt. ”

”We had booked this hotel for the last night of our 11 day Sicily tour, and I'm so glad we chose this hotel. On arrival, we were upgraded to the suite, as the hotel was full. The suite was beautiful and spacious, located on the top floor of the main building, and it had a big balcony with sunloungers, shower and table overlooking the pool area. ”Casa D’aria is a quaint and lovely place for a vacation set in an ideal location in Catania. The eclectic style of the entire building is so interesting and homey. We had excellent communication with the owners leading up to our check in. The room was massive! With the comfiest bed tucked up on a loft. We made use of the full kitchenette and our room even had a washer to do our laundry. The rooftop communal terrace was a great place to enjoy a bottle of wine and listen to the sounds of Catania....
