”Mystic River Resort feels like you are staying in the Congo with an amazing staff, food, drinks, and rooms. The rooms do not have AC so we recommend staying here in the winter/spring unless you are used to the humid heat. The excursions available all around are awesome! And the food/drinks within town are amazing and CHEAP! We will definitely be back to the resort in the winter for a cooler experience as we see more temples.”

”An amazing experience! Abdiel, Rita, Ragner, and so many others took such good care of us. Such genuine people at a beautiful resort. Food was great! If you are up early enough you will see a wide variety of birds at breakfast. We even saw a few howler moneys in the evening! We did the ATM tour and appreciated the deep compassion and respect our guide (Ben) had for the history of the archaeological site. We'll be back!”

”The best place to stay in San Ignacio!! The grounds were absolutely beautiful, a little oasis just outside of the town center. The rooms were so clean and the AC was strong which we needed. The restaurant was great and so accommodating with our meals. All of the staff was wonderful and friendly. And the infinity pool was the cherry on top!”

”The staff was AMAZING!! The food was some of the best food I have ever had! We had massages that were great! Enjoyed tubing (& successfully made it over the falls!), rope swing into the river, hiking & night hike. The resort scheduled all our transportation (to/from Belize City) & the ATM tour we did. We stayed 4 nights. In hind sight the only thing we would have done differently was booked a room with A/C. The humidity was brutal in May. ”
