”This is a great place, but there’s a couple of things you need to know before renting.First, if you can’t tell from the pictures, only the bedroom and bathroom are enclosed, the kitchen is completely open – no screens. That means bugs – it's Costa Rica after all. No mosquitoes, but beetles, flies, little flying things, and the occasional millipede. You can reduce the insects by not turning on the outside lights at night (finish eating before dark) and cleaning up dishes etc. immediately after...

”Las villas son hermosas, las vistas impresionantes! Nos encantó. Lo único que quisiera resaltar es que si os quedáis en villa oropendola, tener mucho cuidado si tenéis niños chicos. Para llegar a las villas también es un poco complicado. Es necesario tener vehículo todo terreno. Aparte de eso, todo estuvo genial. Muchas gracias! ”

”Great stay! The management team is exceptional! The house is pretty new and clean. Neighbor houses in the development are pretty close but most of the time we had little or no noise from neighbors. Strongly suggest 4x4 vehicle as the 15 minute drive up from the highway is steep and rough( typical for CR mountain houses). Daily macaw and toucan views from the house and frequent howler monkeys nearby. Definitely would return. Good value for the price. ”

”The listed pictures doesn't do justice to this cabin. The property is super clean. It has huge decks on both floors with gorgeous view. There is an outdoor kitchen with all the basics for cooking a meal. The place is a little hard to find but our host Edward and Ruth met with us and led us to the cabin. We enjoyed being so close to the nature. ”

”The house was very clean and quite comfortable. The kitchen needs additional basic cooking utensils. If you plan on eating out for your entire stay it won’t be an issue. Gourmet cooks will feel extremely frustrated and challenged.”
