”Adorable, friendly staff”

”We spent two nights in a boutique type hotel Volcanes. It was located in the very center of Alajuela. It’s a small family run hotel with a good friendly english speaking staff. Breakfast is served by your order and it certainly is fresh. Rooms are very tidy as all the public areas. You can find rooms for different price categories. We liked it very much. ”

”We were looking for an “off-tourist” spot since we flew in from nyc and were driving up to La fortuna. This was an absolute gem. Plenty space for kids to run/play, hot springs, gorgeous river stream. We only had one morning, but would’ve easily stayed for a couple nights if we didn’t have our next stop scheduled! Totally recommend this place - be prepared as this is more like a high-end “glamping”. Plenty beds and sleeping accommodations. Very respectful and accommodating staff. ”

”The Marriott Hacienda Belen is the only hotel where I stay in San Jose. I have been there 15+ times as it’s the best way to finish a Costa Rica trip before getting back. The convenience of the shuttle to the airport is a must. This hotel has been consistent through the years with impeccable facilities, multiple food outlets, great brunch buffet, welcoming staff and pristine rooms. The place is just beautiful in a very special historic building. I have been recommending it to family and friends....
