The cleaning team maintains the home to hotel-level standards and is available for mid-stay cleanings if needed (extra charge may apply).

Locals and travelers mingle across beach bars, surf schools, galleries, and gyms—most speak English, making it easy to navigate and feel at home . Whether you’re after an energizing breakfast by the sea or a late-night bite on Calle Loíza, your ideal San Juan neighborhood is right outside the door.

Condado is hyper-walkable. From your doorstep, you can stroll to Condado Beach (6–10 min), La Ventana al Mar park, cafés, bars, and grocery stores within minutes. Easy to live car-free for your daily needs  .

🚕 Ride-hailing & taxis
Uber and local taxis are plentiful. Uber wait times average under 10 min in Condado; flat-rate taxi stands at the airport and main districts add convenience for short trips or airport transfers ().

🚌 Public transit
Bus routes (AMA and publicos) and Tren Urbano service the broader San Juan metro area for around $0.75–$1.50 per ride. While inexpensive, schedules are unreliable—flagging buses down is common .

🚗 Car rental & driving
For exploring beyond the metro—El Yunque, west coast beaches, Culebra, or Vieques—a rental car is ideal. Vehicles are easy to arrange from SJU airport or local agencies, equipped with toll stickers . Watch for rush-hour traffic and occasional congestion near bridges.

🚴 Bike & scooters
Condado features bike lanes along beachfront roads. Rentals are popular for exploring the shoreline, lagoon paths, and nearby Isla Verde  .

Tours typically include transport from Condado for excursions like Old San Juan walking tours, rainforest hikes, or island boat trips. Convenient if you prefer skipping driving ().

Puerto Rico is a beautiful and vibrant island, and while we’ve designed this home to be as comfortable and modern as possible, we always like to set the right expectations:

• Hot water is available, but like many places on the island, it may not be scalding hot—it’s more of a warm tropical shower, perfect after the beach.

• You may occasionally see small ants, mosquitoes, or tropical bugs, especially near outdoor areas. We regularly spray and clean, but this is part of the island life.

• Electricity and internet are stable, but rare outages can happen due to weather or infrastructure. These are usually short-lived, and our team is always ready to help if anything comes up.

• We provide starter amenities: toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, trash bags, dish soap, and basic cleaning supplies. If you’re staying more than a couple days, you may need to restock based on your group’s needs.

• The home is in a residential area, so we kindly ask guests to respect quiet hours after 10 PM. No parties or loud gatherings.

• Beach gear is not provided, but rentals are available nearby and the beach is just a few blocks away.
