Our overall experience at this hotel was great. The amenities that this hotel offers in addition to multiple restaurants on site, multiple pools, easy access to beach (including beach chairs and umbrellas with room), etc. Our double queen patio room was always cleaned and provided us with new towels without ask. We also rented a seaside cabana on Saturday and our service provided by the women at the towel counter and Michael and Jose our food & drink servers for the day were extremely kind and helpful with any questions/concerns we had. A couple of things that I believe should be improved are the lighting in the room. It’s VERY dim and for a group of women trying to get ready with minimal lighting, it was rather challenging. In addition, we did feel as though a lot of the staff members at the front desk upon check in felt very bothered and very passive when we were looking to be acknowledged for assistance during our initial
Check in process. One woman told us to “wait because she was clocking out for the day.” If you are the face of the start of someone’s hotel experience, you should have a more upbeat positive attitude. We felt slightly dismissed at times.
Also the nightclub downstairs goes until 5am and we could hear the booming of the music from our 3rd floor room. Just FYI.
