Wonderful owner, wonderful property. Here are some highlightsThe property itself was very nice, very clean and nicely furnished Location: We love a slow pace so we enjoyed the property’s three pools. We also really appreciated the short 5 minute walk (if you take your time) to restaurants and bars. One restaurant was right on the water. Next door to it were local bars to experience authentic PR culture Great place great location.

We loved the accommodations! They were clean, and everything we needed was there for use during our stay. It was a plus to have use of beach towels and chairs. The house was accommodating, relaxing, beds were comfortable and close to all amenities. There was a beautiful marina view but no beach view. It was within driving distance to great restaurants, shopping and the beach. We really enjoyed our visit and would stay there again. Thank you!

This was my youngest son's graduation trip. He brought his girlfriend and bff and his older brother. Great family atmosphere. The owner was very responsive. The set up and layout was great. Pictures pretty accurate. Check in mostly smooth. Plenty of towels. Beds were decent. The condo was nice. The owner has no control of the odor coming from the Marina at low tide, woah, but its not a deal breaker. Central and safe lication. Responded in timely manner to needs. My husband forgot a couple of checkout details I hope they overlook, as I became ill on the trip, but unrelated to anything regarding trip. Don't overlook seven seas beach nearby its gorgeous. Has amenities and only 5 to park. Not a long drive to the rain forest. I would recommend the owner add a few more drinking glasses, but other than that everything was supplied. We would go back. The kids were officially adults but barely 18 so still kids to me. They all gave it 2 thumbs up. PUERTO RICO was beautiful.

El Yunque a must if you've never been in a rain forest. Not a far drive.

Great Place to stay in Fajardo

When we arrived the check in process was easy. Keep in mind you are visiting a Spanish speaking location so sometimes the security that check in only speak Spanish which we know some but had to get a little creative at times. The condo was clean well stocked with helpful items like beach towels a wagon camping chairs and bug spray (which you will need) and lots of dishes/pots and pans. Loved that the porch had a fan, AC and washer dryer in the unit with detergent softener and dryer sheets provided. No dishwasher in the unit so if you like to cook something to keep in mind. The elevator to go up and down was helpful for my mother in law who uses a walker but at times would not work to come to our floor and I would just run up one floor and then bring it down. Something to consider if you have accessibility needs and the parking was a little far from the entrance but we had no problem pulling the car over temporarily near the entrance to pick her up. We used all the pools and the one on the middle level was our favorite. The unit does face a main road with the marina which is great for views but if there is a party at the marina it can be a little loud until 2/3 am. Only happened 1 night out of our week there on a Sunday night I believe. Our stay was lovely and Leticia was very responsive to questions and a mix up with security about having my brother in law approved to come in one night for dinner. Great stay!

Mother’s Day Trip

Welcome to Puerto Rico at least once annually and in recent years have resided in Pena Mar. This unit had issues from the start. The email that is sent prior to check in from the owner stated that the best way to contact her was through email through the booking app; when we reached out to the owner it was not until the next day after we reached out to VRBO to express our that we heard from the owner. The shelf counter in the bathroom dropped and there were major issues with cleanliness. There was mold around the kitchen sink and various areas around the unit. The owner tried to say that this was from treatment for ants; however, I have never seen anything like this and we have pics for proof. Relatedly there was a major issue with mosquitoes inside the unit that was independent of the weather as this infestation was inside the unit. We were bitten numerous times during the night while asleep. The owner offered to have the cleaner come and clean and also exterminate, even suggested placing citronella candles inside the unit. For health and safety reasons we left and booked a different unit and presently we are still waiting for issuance of a refund. This unit is definitely not a reflection of the cleanliness and customer service given by other owners within this complex. It is very clear that this owner who resides at a distance relies on the cleaners who did a subpar job prior to our arrival and does not regularly check on her property.

This property was perfect for 2 families traveling together. Teen boys had room with twin beds, parents in other rooms. Basketball court and pools were a plus. Condo was in great condition and property was well kept. Felt very safe - gated community. walkable to local restaurants / bars. closest grocery only 5 minutes away.

Roomy property with comfortable furnishings. Super convenient to have the washer/dryer. The location was ideal for Fajardo-based excursions, though we did not find it very walkable otherwise. Host was super responsive and helpful.

A hidden gem!!!

Loved our 5 day stay at Pena Mar in Fajardo at Leticia's condo. Very clean and fantastic location. Restaurants are walkable distance. Master bedroom bed is super comfy. The only downside is that the property overlooks the road which can get noisy with trucks and cars blasting their stereos. If you are a light sleeper this could be a problem. Otherwise, the property is exceptional.

Excellent stay

Property was clean, very secure with 24 hour security and gated community. Check in/out process was effortless. Condo was fully supplied with beach chairs and other items for the stay. Owner was very attentive when the island lost power and water issues, everything was handled quickly. Great local restaurants within walking distance.

This place was accommodating with essentials, a streaming program on TV to watch, and smooth process going and coming. Slight confusion when checking in and getting the key to come in. It was clean enough for us. However, there were small corner places in each room, that I don’t know what that was. I definitely recommend a deep clean but overall cleanliness was good. However, my daughter would cough a lot when the air was turned on at the house only. The vents look like they should be cleaned. So, we tried not having it on as much as we could. It was a good rate for our stay and we are grateful for the opportunity to stay to stay there.

Great place for families

Everything was straight forward from entering to the security gates to entering the apartment. The instructions were clear. My kids loved the pool options. And the area felt really secure. There were a couple of very nice restaurants near the area, like pescaito restaurant and bar. It had great whole fish! Which was amazing. It was very close to the apartments everything was just perfect. The kids loved the rooms. The amenities were all there.

Super Responsive Host

Lety was super responsive when we had a few maintenance issues beyond her control. The place is safe and comfortable and we couldn't have been happier. The price was right for what you got. I would definitely stay in this complex again.

A few minor problems, but otherwise OK. One of the beds squeaked a lot, and was not very comfortable.

Great condo!

Thank you for allowing us to stay at your place! Everything was great! We really enjoyed using your beach items. It was nice to not have to rent anything! Location was great as well! Close to Seven Seas, Luquillo, and Playa Azul. Which we loved. We also enjoyed the pool area overlooking the ocean. Would love to come back and stay again!
