A thoughtful modern renovation of an old stone farmhouse set in a tranquil village overlooking vineyards. Our breakfast of fresh juice and fruits, cheese and a selection of salmon and cured meats was prepared by a very charming local woman. When I return to the region, I will definitely include this special small hôtel on my itinerary. ”

”I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming hotel in the heart of La Riola, and I can’t recommend it enough! The location is perfect, allowing easy access to all the nearby wineries. Waking up each morning was a delight, serenaded by the enchanting songs of the Koo Koo owl, complemented by the gentle sounds of church bells ringing in the distance. ”Very good value for the price. The room was very cosy and calm. The bathroom was shared with other rooms, but there was no problems with queuing. The room included towels and bed linens. You can get dinner and breakfast at the bar downstairs. There is a grocery store about 400 m away. I full recommend this guesthouse. ”

”Hotel Pura Vida was a beautiful hotel nestled into a beautiful village in the middle of La Rioja. The staff were super friendly and lovely towards our 7 month old son. There is a garden out the back with lovely dappled sunlight and views over the village. We would definitely stay here again, if we ever return to the area. Thanks so much for a lovely stay.”
