OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
Off-grid living: Slack Tide generates its electricity through solar power. Being off-grid means electricity is generated on-site rather than supplied by the municipal grid. Thoughtful consumption helps the system support everyone’s comfort, especially during extended cloudy or rainy weather.
Energy conservation: Please switch off lights and unused appliances when heading out. If using air conditioning, keep doors and windows closed and turn it off when leaving the home.
Water conservation: Please avoid leaving taps running, keep showers reasonably short, and report leaks or running toilets promptly.
Getting around: A golf cart is recommended for exploring the area and travelling into San Pedro town. We suggest picking up groceries and essentials before heading to the property.
Weather and roads: Roads around Secret Beach can become muddy, uneven, or flooded after heavy rain. Drive carefully and allow extra travel time.
Pool use: Children should be supervised by an adult whenever using the pool or spending time around it.
