”Very good quality room restored in historic building. Spacious room, very clean, good bed, good shower (except it was quite tiny). Good location in Lecce old town. Nice rustic roof terrace for lounge area and breakfast. But definitely the best was our host Tullio, his heart warming attitude made us feel so welcome and special. He really makes this accommodation stand out from the rest. ”

”L'Orangerie d'Epoque is an absolutely unique experience. The room is very high and comfortable with furniture that brings to mind my grandmother's house. Another very nice feature is a pleasant private garden, which is at the disposal of the guests. The house is near the historical centre of Lecce. I was there in quite hot weather in June, and the room remained very cool and comfortable. It was, however, NOT air-conditioned, as was advertised. When I asked about this, the lady of the house said:...

The one downside, and it isn't a small one - the parking in Lecce is really difficult especially during busier times of the day/week, and because of the ZTL you have to carry your luggage from outside the historic center to the building, and up about three flights of stairs.
