”The hotel is nice and very clean. Breakfast was good with enough options. The room was maybe a little bit worn out (mainly the kitchen) but it didn't bother us. Super quiet. Part of the reception staff would maybe need an improvement in their attitude, a few of them were not very welcoming and it seemed that they were not very keen on resolving the customer's questions. After all many times the quality of the customer service is what makes the difference.”

”Room clean and the staff were very courteous and helpful. Jose Picado (bellhop) and Mauricio (at the bar and restaurant) went above and beyond and are credit to your staff. On the morning of our departure, Mr. Picado walked us two blocks away to help us with our Uber ride which could not access the hotel due to a marathon.”

”The hotel is well located since it is within a walking distance from central SJO. Atmosphere in the hotel is excellent as well as service. Yes - the breakfast could be larger or the pool bigger, but I always assess locations from a price/quality perspective and stress cleanliness and security. And from these points of view, Santo Tomas is a first rate choice. Highly recommended. I would go again. ”
