”Fantastic little hotel! Beautifully appointed and in the heart of town. Wish I’d been staying longer but will definitely come back!”

”Remote staff consistent with many nice hotels in small towns. Clean and comfortable. Spartan, but all expected accoutrements provided (blow dryer). No outside windows but that helps with sleeping late and is expected when an old mercantile is converted to hostelry. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. ”

”Super sweet staff! However, not having a toilet in the room was a bit strange lol but to be expected with a hotel built in 1923, other than that it was a great stay. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to town.”

”Our Room was updated, a/c worked well, and it was pretty quiet. The entire place was sold out,.and we had no issues at all. Convenient parking, etc. Coffee is in the main office, and there are grab and go items for breakfast. We were happy with our stay, price, and staff. ”

”Room was clean, breakfast is decent. But the lighting in rooms is not good for applying makeup. Even with lights around mirror. The only thing that bugs me is we can never get a 1st floor room even though I always request one in advance. Would be okay if there was an elevator. We stay here twice a year for last 4 or 5 years ”

”I stayed in Oasis’ RV unit while on a Christmas hiking trip with my 75 year old mom and our dogs. The camper was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with every necessity you could imagine. Check in and out were both effortless. Sadly, this was my first vacation of the year. So, visiting here off season was perfect for us. ”You know what?I really loved our stay at the thunderbird lodge.I've seen a couple negative reviews. And i may have put three stars on maintenance and useful amenities. But that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy my stay as much as I absolutely could.They had a full kitchen, so we didn't have a grill outside like most cabins .
