Ilmastointi ja lämpö kaikissa makuuhuoneissa, uudet kylpyhuoneet yläkerrassa ja uudesta 24 jalkaa kannesta on näköala järvelle! Kauniita kukkia, paljon villieläimiä, mahtava kalastus!Ympärivuotinen talo sijaitsee Winnisquam-järven länsirannalla. Tämä leiri on ollut perheessämme kolmen sukupolven ajan. 24'-kaasulämmitteinen olohuone oli alun perin yhden huoneen koulumaja Laconiassa, ja se vedettiin jään yli vetohevosten avulla. Meillä on kuvia alkuperäisistä omistajista ja alkuperäisestä B & B-vieraskirjasta 'Camp Westwood' 1800-luvun lopulta. Kaikista kauniista tilavista aurinkoisista huoneista on näkymät järvelle ja Belknap-vuoristoon. Keittiössä on kaikki mukavuudet: uusi sähköhella, lg frig, astianpesukone ja hävitys. Suuri ruokailutila, mäntypöydällä, joka mahtuu 10, ja jossa on 2 isoa keulaikkunaa, joista on näköala järvelle. Pelikortit 24 jalkaa kuistilla, jossa 3 suurta ikkunaa ja liukusäädin 24 jalkaa kannelle järvelle päin. Istu ulkona olevan takan ääressä syöden s'mores -tuotteita ja katsele, kuinka kuu nousee vuorten yli järven yli.
Nauti auringonnoususta kahvikupilla liukupöydällä yksityisen 40 m: n laiturisi lopussa, josta on helppo pääsy veteen, nauttimaan kesästä. Meillä on 2 kajakkia ja sähkömoottorilla varustettu soutuvene ilmaiseksi! Kalastus Winnisquam-järvellä on upeaa kesällä ja talvella, voimme näyttää salaiset paikat! Istu piknikpöydällä ja tarkkaile kotkia, kalasääskiä, suuria sinisia haikaroita, looneja ja ankkoja. Pihan ympäri on linnutaloja ja syöttölaitteita. Isoisäni aloitti kauniit kukka-, vihannes- ja yrttitarhat, jotka ympäröivät kiinteistöä. Seuraa kotoisin olevaa taimenta kulkevaa puroa, joka rajoittuu omaisuutta ja kulkee metsään joko kävelyllä tai lumikenkäilyllä. Rentoudu ja nauti yksityisestä, metsäisestä ympäristöstä, joka sijaitsee rauhallisella umpikujaisella tien päässä kaukana liikenteestä. Nauti talvella ja keväällä upeita sateenkaari- ja järvien taimen- ja bassokalastuksia leirin edessä - 'jääkalastustaloa' ei tarvita! Outlet-ostoskeskus, golf- ja minigolf, vanhentamis-, retkeily- ja maatilan osastot, siideri ja kurpitsa, Gunstock mtn. Virkistysalue, Weirsin ranta ja Mt. Washingtonin risteilyalus, vain 20 minuutin päässä. Kaiken tyyppisiä vene- ja jetski-vuokrauksia lähellä Winnisquam-järvellä. Jääkala, maastohiihto, iceskate, moottorikelkka aivan leirillä! We couldn’t have asked for anything more for a lake vacation - camp Westwood was the perfect getaway! The house is charming, well decorated, and spotless. The beds were very comfortable and it was nice to have AC to cool the bedrooms on the hotter days. The grounds are beautiful. We loved the wandering ducks, and saw eagles, loons, and lots of other birds. There is good privacy from the neighboring homes and we were surprised at how quiet the lake was during the week. We enjoyed playing cards on the deck and sun porch, meals inside and out, sunsets, the fire pit, and lots of time on the lake. The pedal kayaks were fun and made it easy to get out to the center of the lake to fish or explore. Debbie and Mark are incredibly gracious hosts. They were available to answer questions, provide rafts and extra kitchen equipment (the kitchen is well stocked), and offered us herbs and vegetables from their garden. We all enjoyed our time at this special home on Winnisquam and hope to return!

Perfect place to stay on the lake!

Simply beautiful! That was our first impressions when entering the house, and still our impression when we left. The location is incredible, the property is lovely, the rooms are welcoming, and the owners, Mark and Debbie are a treasure. This was our first VRBO, and we were looking for a place to celebrate our 25th Anniversary with all our children (ages 36, 34, 34 and 25) , their significant others, and our grandson. The house appeared to fit that bill with 4 bedrooms, three bathrooms and situated right on the lake. I had questions about whether or not we would all comfortably fit, and if there would be enough parking for the 5 vehicles that would be there, and all my questions were answered quickly and accurately after contacting the owners. The property is full of amenities. Fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, lovely dinning area, comfortable sun room overlooking the lake. Large deck with two tables, dock, kayaks, row boat, and a fire pit. I'm pretty sure we used everything except the row boat throughout the week. With a total of 10 of us there, we were all comfortable. My wife and I decided to pitch a tent in the yard, and sleep outside, which allowed our youngest son to have a bedroom of his own instead of sleeping on the pull out couch. We, and all of our kids enjoyed the week so much, we are already talking about coming back. I can't recommend this property enough. Mark and Debbie have created a location for creating beautiful memories.

The most peaceful beautiful home and area

This is just amazing in every way there is. This home is beautiful, cozy and has everything anyone could ever need or want and then some! Right on the lake!! Maybe 5-6 ft. What a magnificent time!! The fires at the fire pit area were incredible ! We will be back next summer for sure!! Thank you Debbie & Mark

Relaxing at Lake Winnisquam

The home was right on the lake with two docks large enough to fish from or sit on and relax. Beautiful deck and screen porch facing the lake. 4 good sized bedrooms including a master suite. The kitchen was outfitted perfectly with plenty of dishware and cooking implements. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to relax on one of New Hampshire's premier lakes.

Camp westwood and memories

Camp westwood is absolutely perfect. Every nook and cranny at the property is maintained and clean with Deb and Marks personal touch. I have been coming here for 3 years and hope to continue visiting every year. This is a slice of paradise in New Hampshire, bring lots of and enjoy the new dock as well the MANY different kinds of kayakes. Lake winnisquam is clear amd clean water. The upstairs bedrooms have a INCREDIBLE view and you feel like your in a houseboat. I recommend buying groceries and spend every minute at camp westwood, 🏕 its a perfect lake house. Aso the pricing is really good! You wont find a better lake house rental. This place is VERY clean, its amazing

Memorable and fun family week!

A wonderful, relaxing time, We had all we could ever want for fun on the water. Spent a lot of time on the deck and several long lingering meals around the large dining table. Fun and Relaxing Family Vacation Spot

Our Family enjoyed our vacation at Camp Westwood on beautiful Lake Winnisquam. Debbie & Mark's property fit our family's needs well, with plenty of room for everyone, and air conditioners in every bedroom. The lake was clear and great for swimming for all ages. We enjoyed the lovely natural private setting. The house was comfortable and set up well for large groups. It was a fun family reunion!

We stayed here with our son daughter in law & 2 yr old grandson. The owners are on site & very available. Our grandson loved feeding the ducks every day! Debbie & Mark the owners left us cracked corn for daily duck feeding! We kept our 21ft four Winns on their dock & enjoyed boat rides ice cream & of course trips to the sand bar! Beautiful views of the sunrise every morning & listening to loons & the barred owl nightly. Loved making campfires nightly & s’mores of course 😁

Beautiful Lake House

We had a wonderful week with family (ages 1 to 80+) at this beautiful house right on the lake. The hosts, Mark & Debbie, were very helpful with tips on fishing, kayaking, and local wildlife. We enjoyed the entire property, inside and out, and the local area. A five-star experience all around!

Perfect lakefront spot

Camp Westwood is the perfect getaway. The property feels very private. The owners have thought of everything; the kitchen is well stocked for cooking, they have boats and water toys and life jackets in every size, a grill, a fire pit complete with firewood and everything else you need. Beautiful gardens and bird feeders that brought out gold finches, a woodpecker, & hummingbirds. It is just steps to the water and you can sit on the back deck or porch and hear the sound of the lake water lapping at the rocks. Can’t say enough good things. We loved it. Great for kids. Comfy and cozy. Swimmable beach. Water was clear and shallow with a mostly sandy bottom. So perfect!

Duck paradise

We found the house to be well maintained and very convenient for hosting our large family as the common spaces were large and comfortable. The property was beautifully landscaped and the lake and mountain views were lovely. The property owners were welcoming and friendly but not at all intrusive. However, the property owners encourage the local ducks to come onto the dock and to the bird feeders on the property, meaning there were always ducks on the dock and around the yard, along with their duck poo. Although the owners provided a hose to wash off the deck, we found the setup to be very unsanitary and I was not comfortable letting my child touch anything. For those who have had duck itch, you know it’s better to keep your distance from the ducks.

Debbie and Mark are wonderful hosts who are kind enough to share this amazing location with NH vacationers! Their home is spacious, comfortable, well-appointed, and perfectly located for water fun on the lake. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. and would certainly visit again!

Wonderful vacation at Camp Westwood!

We had a fantastic 2 weeks at this wonderful property! Lake Winnesquam was beautiful and serene. The owners were gracious, helpful and accommodating. The home had everything we needed and was cozy and comfortable for our group. Would not hesitate to return!

Great vacation

Debbie and Mark were wonderful. Very easy to communicate with them. They live next door but we rarely saw them unless we asked them for something. House was very clean and comfortable. Lake front was great. View was beautiful. Canoe, kayaks and row boat were a great plus. Would definitely go back.

Fabulous Family Vacation

Great week at Camp Westwood.

Our family enjoyed a week of swimming, boating, and relaxing at Camp Westwood in July. The property was clean, well stocked with essential staples, and very comfortable. Debbie and Mark were gracious hosts who were there when we had a question, yet gave us plenty of privacy the rest of the time. Great place to stay

The house was very clean and had everything you need. The views were amazing. Debbie and Mark are great hosts. They built a fire for us showed us how to use the new kayaks and you could tell they wanted us to have the best vacation possible. It was great all the way around.

Amazing location

The house is wonderful. Location to lake is epic! House was spacious and clean. Nice little touches everywhere. Host was responsive and helpful. Lake is wonderful. Fire pit area, kayak launch so many things to make your stay more comfortable!

Beautiful house for a lake vacation

Debbie's home is a very charming and well-equipped space for enjoying a lake vacation. The hosts are very communicative and helpful, and the home has a fire pit, a grill, multiple canoes and kayaks so you can make the most out of Lake Winnisquam!

Fantastic property with east facing view for fantastic sunrises! Accommodated 2 families of 4. With room to spare. A dock with room for a boat. The property came with 2 kayaks, a canoe and a row boat made a great weekend on the water! Debbie gave us a nice tour to start our visit. The garden with humming birds and vegetables was a delight to watch with our morning coffee. I would visit this property again if it is available.
