”The stay was not bad. Unfortunately our smoke alarm detector went off not once but twice within an hour at 2:30 AM. The first time it went off, the gentleman at the front desk said there was no fire and probably someone smoking nearby. The second time it went off, we went to the front desk and he came to the room and took it off saying it probably needed batteries. Needless to say not a restful night. ”I booked about a month prior to visiting. When we arrived there system had some sort of error and they couldn’t find my reservation. Therefore they didn’t have my room available. Mind you it’s 10:30 at night, I have two kiddos and a baby in the car desperately needing to go to sleep. It took the staff 45 minutes to try and figure out some sort of solution. I had originally purchased a room with two queen beds. They finally were able to get me in a room with one king. And then had to bring two...

”I guess when you stay at a motel you get what you pay for. The property overall wasn’t well maintained and the room was very outdated. We found a live brown recluse in the room, took a pic (then killed it) and went to the front desk and let them know. The lady was very nice but couldn’t/ offer us another room or refund. We left the motel and found a much nicer and spider free place to stay. I just couldn’t sleep there and my kiddos were pretty freaked out. Wasted money. Won’t book with another...

First room had a musty smell (with a plug in air freshener to try to hide the smell), stains and burn marks on the bedding, and a shorted out bathroom light (presumably from a leak from the bathroom in the room upstairs). Door wasn't sealed well, could see outside from the room. We had to switch rooms due to the shorted out light... But the second room was even worse.. ”The cabin was clean and private and my husband and I had a nice relaxing experience. It was quiet and just what we needed. The shower didn't work as expected and the toilet didn't flush very well but all in all I would return.”

”Very old rooms. Towels and sheets smelled clean, but very musty smell in the room. The toilet didnt flush well and the tub/shower was old. For the free breakfast it was toast/bagel cereal and yogurt. Toasters are not great, and they didnt have the proper lids for the coffee cups.”
