”We stayed for 5 nights and had a brilliant time. The house is so well equipped, is in a perfect position for the beach, playground, amusements and Island attractions. The whole family really loved the house. It is across 4 floors so we are all a little bit fitter now having climbed more stairs than usual. There is also some building works next door but we barely heard anything at all.”

”My family and I had a fantastic time at Colonels Apartment. Right in front of the beach. Wake up to the sounds of the waves, had breakfast on the outside table in front of the house looking at the beach and then I crossed the main street and went for a swim on the gorgeous beach of Sandown, which by the way, is dog friendly. The apartment had everything we needed and was as described. Communication and organization was 100%. Will book again! ”

”Lovely apartment in a perfect location. We fell asleep and woke up to the sound of the sea. Great beach for swimming and a couple of good restaurants in 2 minutes walk. Very helpful host. We will be returning.”

”As a dog owner, we loved hiw dog friendly the hotel was. Lovely surroundings great staff, very clean, lovely swimming pool, the only downfall was the beds beside the pool were very hard, and we just couldn't sit on them for long, the beds in the grass area were comfortable. ”Great location if you want somewhere quiet away from the crowds. That said it is within a short drive of Ventnor, Shanklin, Godshill and Sandown. The outside space of the cottage is limited to a courtyard at the side of the property. If you have a big car you might find the driveway a little on the short side - that said we did manage to fit two cars side by side ( a Niro and a Panda). We did have to move the rubbish bins off the drive to do that! If you need to rely on the internet while...
