”My wife and I rented this lovely little cabin for 3 nights and would have loved to stay 3 more. The history is super cool and there are a bunch of items and memorabilia on the walls relating to the cabin making for a really unique experience. Don’t expect it to feel like a modern hotel room. It’s rustic and as original to its 100 year old roots as it can be. If you like the rustic though you’ll love this place. We saw a group of about 12 turkey waddle through the yard, spotted a deer walking...

”The cabin was just adorable. The bed and bedding were nice and warm and we had everything we needed. It was super close to Sequoia and Kings Canyon. My husband and I had a great time. Great communication with Melanie the host too!”

”Yurt was as expected and pictured on listing. The bathroom was a little further than expected (and slightly uphill) which could make it difficult for someone who needs to go in the middle of the night. Otherwise, we really enjoyed this unique experience. I wish I would've know there was a mini-fridge, a microwave and some other kitchen items in the unit - we would've planned a dinner around that. A great location for visiting Sequoia. ”

”Excellent accommodation with fantastic views. Very comfortable and pleased we spent time there. Hot tub was a real bonus watching the sun go down!”

”The hot tub was not not usable for the duration of our stay as it was only 72F on arrival and didn't heat to a usable temp until the day of our departure. Disappointing since it was a highlight for our work trip. Would have been a nice pain/stress relief for the physical labor we were performing. But the place is nicely appointed with good kitchen and general space. ”

”Location was good. Towels sheets, beds were good. Surfaces were clean. Not worried about rodents or bugs but the floors were not clean. Deck and access could use a little maintenance but doable. Lots of little steps and uneven flooring. Not great for elderly. Little bar down the street is huge bonus.”

”Mike was really good at communicating and laying all the details! The back up Julia was also really responsive! This was a unique experience we’ll repeat in the future and recommend to friends traveling to the area! Thanks ”
