This contemporary 2 bedroom is located in Sandys parish and boasts beautiful views of Ellys Harbour. Just footsteps away from a shallow beach affectionately known as "Shipwreck Beach" and calm waters are inviting for turtles and other marine life. Located in a lovely neighborhood with numerous vacation homes Harbour Heights offers the security, space and privacy your family needs. It is also close to historical attractions like Fort Scaur, Heydon Trust and The Railway Trail.

This home is serviced by Crown Point - a local concierge. Once you book they will be in touch at some point to help you get started with your vacation planning. I am very responsive so I am always there when you need me and take a step back when you don’t.

The neighborhood is made up of multi-generational families and some are also dedicated vacation homes. Often times the neighbors will be happy to assist you during your stay giving you insight and history about the home and the area. There are two major bus routes that travel past the house - #7 & #8. Our concierge can arrange to have bus fare at the home to get you started. Within walking distance you can find the historical Heydon Trust park, Fort Scaur, and access to the railway trail. Hidden Gem: If you travel westward along the main road you will find another hidden beach...ask us for directions and we would be happy to share!

The entire upper unit is yours to enjoy. There is a lower 1 bedroom for other vacationers that do not share a space with you. There is a lawn off to the far side of the house which is common.

All of our doors are hurricane PVC doors. To close them can be tricky if you aren't familiar but super easy once you have it down! To close/lock them, push the handle down, close the door, lift the handle up...to lock, simply turn the knob.

Walk through the glass french doors into a beautiful and airy open plan Living & dining space. You can see views from every window in this space.

There is a 55" smart Samsung TV mounted for your viewing pleasures (Streaming Only: Netflix, Disney Plus, YouTube) and in addition to the traditional seating we have large floor pillows for a more cozy and fun way to lounge. Our ottoman pig "Gilbert" is great to rest your feet up on too! He is never in the same spot though so you'll have to find him in the house somewhere.

The cute and contemporary kitchen features stainless steel appliances and all the utensils you would need during your stay. There is a coffee maker for ground coffee there. We have provided filters and some coffee to get you started. Note:

There is a small glass door thats just off the kitchen that takes you on to the patio where you can enjoy stunning panoramic views of Ely's Harbour. The sunsets are incredible.

Step down into the primary bedroom that has a queen bed and a large dresser . There is a smart TV mounted on the wall (Streaming Only). The best feature of this bedroom is the large ensuite bathroom that features his and hers sinks, a stand alone shower and a soaking tub. The large windows let in the most amazing natural light for a wonderful summer soak. As a bonus there is also a small walk in closet.

The second guest bedroom is perfectly positioned on the other side of the house. It too features a queen bed with a dresser. This bedroom also has a spacious ensuite bathroom with glass door shower. This bedroom has a double french door that leads out to an outdoor lounging space where you can soak up the sun or chill in the shade of the Bermuda cedar tree.

One of the best features about the home is the wrap around deck. There are French doors off the guest bedroom that lead out to a deck where you can enjoy the shade of a Bermuda Cedar Tree and enjoy the view. You can walk around the entire front of the house taking you to a lower grassy area and up to another deck that’s just off of the kitchen.

There are a few sitting areas to enjoy a morning coffee or wine down from a long day with a glass of wine.

We have a twizzy charging station at the house. There is enough room to park cars and bikes. We are also on two major bus routes making public transportation easy and frequent.

We can’t forget Gilbert! He’s our little piggy ottoman. With all the shipwrecks that happened in the early days there were hogs that managed to survive and populated the island. When settlers came the hogs were a source of food and became a symbol of good luck which is why it is featured on our local penny! Hence - the hog penny. PLEASE take a picture with Gilbert at some point during your stay and send it to us or tag us in your social media posts!
