”We were very disappointed on arrival - a very loud construction site far from the tropical paradise we were expecting. The staff were very
kind offering us a free dinner and a room upgrade on the 2nd night. Thank god - the shiwer did’nt drain and there was a lake in front if the toilet. Food is wondreful as well as the beach. Please check with the hotel before booking to see if they have finished construction.”

”Great location - quiet end of the beach!
The bungalows were lovely.
Hospitality wasn’t great - not he warm welcome and customer service we’d had before coming to the islands.
Sun beds on the beach were a great bonus although you need to get out early as there’s not enough for all paying guests.”

”Getting to the island involved catching the dedicated boat anchored offshore. Prepare to get wet! The journey was over an hour but with great views of Koh Ta Kiev island and others.
We were welcomed by volunteers and Giovanni gave us a brief on arrival. We were shown to our accommodation which was just off the beach.
The hut was on stilts and featured fairly comfortable beds with much needed mosquito nets, a balcony facing the sea, and complementary water.
The activities on offer were varied...

”Alueena Otres 2 on täysin keskeneräinen, roskainen ja täynnä rakennustyömaita. Jos kuitenkin päätät tulla tänne, on tämä hotelli kohtalainen vaihtoehto. Tilat ovat suhteellisen siistit, henkilökunta ystävällistä, ravintolasta saa hyvää ruokaa ja tiloissa on myös pieni gym sadepäivien iloksi. Parannettavaa on vielä rannan siisteyden ylläpidossa ja retkien ja palveluiden tarjoamisessa.”
