”Tarpon Tale Inn is a hidden treasure! If you want a quiet getaway on Sanibel Island with quick access to the beach, a private patio and grill, access to bicycles, an outdoor hot/cold shower, a shell washing station, and beach chairs/umbrella/wagon - this is it! The owner, Joe, has an eye for detail and it shows throughout your stay. I wanted a beach experience and that’s exactly what I got at Tarpon Tale Inn. Other than to explore (Blind Pass, Bowman Beach, Turner Beach and Captiva) the island...
”Had a great time for our 40th Anniversary stay there - room was nice and clean -of course mostly all is being rebuilt.
Would definitely come again - only thing we had to go to Costco and get an umbrella ☂️ the lounge chairs were great just needed some protection from the sun ☀️ ( they did have some for sale at the hotel) all in all beautiful beach and outside area with hammocks -the no see ums were really bad so bring protection!! ”

”Staff was friendly, hotel clean and room was nice. Breakfast was excellent. Definitely would stay here again. Easy access to beach as well. Convenient stores near by as well. ”
”The property was secure and well kept. 3 pools Buffet breakfast unreal and included. Staff was on top of everything always a smile and a pleasure talking with. Only thing when walking home from the little town there are no lights and very little side walks.”
”We had a nice three night stay. Rooms are maybe a bit dated but clean and well kept and spacious. Easy access to the beach, great views from the balcony. Convenient location by car and for walking to the restaurants nearby. Recommended!”

”Hotel is located very nice place. Easy to arrive and beach is near. The grade drops because the air conditioning in the room was really loud. At night you couldn't keep it on and then it was really hot. The air conditioners are new but particularly loud.”

Jääkaappi kävi tiuhaan, mutta oli silti lämmin.”
”The cottage was clean and updated with everything you need, toiletries, kitchen pans and utensils, a full beach cart with everything needed for the beach. I took a few naps in the sun in the hammock. The location is great, an easy block to the beach. The only thing we had difficulty with was the gas grill did not heat up sufficiently to cook burgers. It was an incredible relaxing place for a family vacation, highly recommend it”
