”We stayed five nights with my husband. The hotel is beautiful, and the owner is very friendly, polite and makes an effort to make the stay perfect! My husband happened to have his birthday during our stay, and I asked the manager to have a surprise cake. We got it all; a cake, candles, a birthday-song and a bottle of wine to take to our room!! All in all this hotel played a very big role in making our vacation perfect!”

”It was brand new hotel, the rooms were beautiful and nicely decorated. The bed was good, restaurants were good, service was excellent. The garden was magnificent. Only thing where they really should focus is beach area cleaning. Not just around deckchairs -> real beach cleaning, to collect bottles, glass, other garbage away from the beach and teach also that to local boats crews and fisherman. ”We spent 4 nights in June 2014 at Royal Zanzibar Beach Resort and we really enjoyed our stay. It took a bit over one hour from the airport to reach the hotel. We used a taxi which I highly recommend. Cost was 60 USD. Police had many road blocks along to way, so make sure your driver has his paper work in order. "For that price very nice place. Staff was very friendly, breakfast was good. One night dinner was 10/10 but two nights I would say 8/10. Pool area is nice, gym is small and hot (poor air conditioning). Would recommend and visit again."
