”20m2 huone oli n.13m2. Kylpyhuone piti olla huoneessa, oli käytävässä. Patio piti olla joka huoneessa, ei ollut minkäänlaista parveketta, terassia tai verantaa yhdestäkään huoneesta. Piti olla ravintola, ei löytynyt kummastakaan rakennuksesta. Piti olla ilmainen pullovesi, maksoi 1 dollari/pullo. Piti olla siivous joka päivä, viikon aikana siivottiin kahdesti, toinen kerta pyynnöstä, edes pyyhkeitä ei vaihdettu wc:ssä eikä huoneessa. Piti olla puutarha, ainoa sisäänkäynti kadulta, talon...

”Paikka lähellä nähtävyyksiä vanhassa kaupungissa. Englannin kielitaito heikkoa, mutta halua auttaa löytyi. Aamiainen yksinkertainen talon katolla. Talossa ei ollut hissiä. Yksi ihminen teki kaikki palvelut, vastaanotto, aamiainen, pyykkipalvelu ja vielä siivoaminenkin. Hän oli auttavainen ja neuvoi paikkoja, vaikka yhteistä kieltä ei ollutkaan. Vartiointi oli huolimatonta ja sisään pääsi illalla ulkopuolisia ihmisiä. Eräs avasi illalla myöhään huoneemme oven, kun olimme menossa nukkumaan. Ovi ei...

”Rooms are stretched over a beautiful area close to the ocean and are spacey and well maintained. Options of two bars/restaurants with friendly staff; service in general very good - which is rare in Zanzibar. Food and drinks are good quality and many choices but also quiet expensive , similar to the 5-star hotels close by. Otherwise one of the best spots in Pemba! ”

”The local employees were good, food was great and the rooftop is super nice! We stayed for two nights and the experience was ruined when there was a rain and the doors weren’t in best shape. The water came through the door and the hotel room was full of water. All my clothes and bags were wet. The way the manager handled things weren’t good at all. I tried to dry my things and had to go through every single thing I had with me. Some shoes were destroyed and the whole thing took me half a day....

”I stayed here one night after landing in stone town. Perfect spot to nap on and off to get through the jet lag and be right in the heart of stone town. Extremely walkable to sites. The rooms are spacious, excellent shower and super comfy bed. Very clean and was just what I was looking for. Please note that it was a bit difficult to find. The taxi just dropped me off on the main road because cars can’t access the small streets. Once you know where it is, it’s super simple to return to”

”Friendly staff, clean rooms, pool with good upkeep and generally tidy grounds. Can't really complain about anything major. Even if it's not exactly 5-star accommodation they are making a good effort to cater to the needs of westerners. The restaurant has plenty of ambience and again the staff is friendly but the service is slow (this is endemic in Zanzibar though) and the breakfast selection is quite basic. ”Good service, nice spartment, great pool area, delicious restaurant, close to the beach and a good place for your vacation. But no Wifi inside the apartment and overall very bad connection. Could be a little bit cheaper in our opinion. Supermarket and ATM is a little far to walk.”

”I stayed one night, next morning the smell of sewerage from the bathroom drain was horrendous. I left the hotel immediately . The stairs to the top floors are steep & dangerous . Not a pleasant experience .”

"For that price very nice place. Staff was very friendly, breakfast was good. One night dinner was 10/10 but two nights I would say 8/10. Pool area is nice, gym is small and hot (poor air conditioning). Would recommend and visit again."

"Tosiaan hotelli on remontin tarpeessa. Sateella huoneen katto vuosi pahasti, kylpyhuoneessa hometta (kuten monessa muussakin alueen hotellissa). Yksi pyyhe ja olisi ollut kiva myös käyttää erillistä kasvopyyhettä. Huoneessa tavaroille vain yksi kaappi & hylly. Sängyn patjassa isokuoppa ja vaatisi vaihtoa, muutenkin sänky oli erittäin lyhyt ja emme pystyneet nukkumaan suorassa. Ilmastointi ja kattotuuletin toimi hyvin, erittäin hiljaiset. Terassin tuolilla ei voinnut istua, erittäin hutera ja muutenkin epävakaa. Altaalla olevat aurinkotuolit ja aurinkovarjot vaatisivat myös uusimista. Uima-allas oli iso ja sitä putsailtiin jatkuvasti. Hotellista pääsee mukavasti suoraan rannalle, mutta rannalla ei saanut olla rauhassa. Agressiiviset retkimyyjät samantien kimpussa ja välillä tulivat jopa veteen asti myymään retkiä. Aamupala... Erittäin surkea ja kallis tarjontaan nähden, tästä ei kannata missään nimessä maksaa. "
