Palatsit – Sansibar

”While the Melia is a large property, below are pros and cons. Pros: Great pools. The golf cart service to get around is great and needed. If you are a "Level" guest you have personal concierge service to help you book activities and get room service. The villas with own pool are a wonderful family get-away to relax in. Cons: You may have items stolen from your room (we had multiple items of lower value stolen, which I suspect the young staff wanted to try - but the value isn't the point,...

”Overall the experience was positive. We arrived at midnight and staff was still readily available to assist. They even left a late night snack in our room upon arrival. If you are seeking a more laid back resort, it certainly fits the bill. I hoped for more activities available on site. The resort went into quiet mode after 10pm. Also I noticed they had a notification board for information but having daily itineraries either available in print in the room or on the tv would have been helpful....

”We stayed five nights with my husband. The hotel is beautiful, and the owner is very friendly, polite and makes an effort to make the stay perfect! My husband happened to have his birthday during our stay, and I asked the manager to have a surprise cake. We got it all; a cake, candles, a birthday-song and a bottle of wine to take to our room!! All in all this hotel played a very big role in making our vacation perfect!”

”An absolute gem — Kizikula was one of the highlights of our trip and easily one of the best boutique hotels we’ve ever stayed at. Our room was stunning, beautifully designed, and filled with thoughtful little details. Everything was impeccably clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. You can really feel the care that has gone into every aspect of the property. The staff were exceptional — warm, welcoming, and genuinely thoughtful. They went above and beyond throughout our stay, and no...
