”You need a car to see the surroundings. Pool was open till 5:30 pm and you needed to buy a swimming cap to use the pool. Room was quite ugly. Colours were orange and green. The fridge was not working properly. First night at the hotel was extremely hot for us. We had one room for four people and they controlled the aircondition from the reception. We had to ask twice to get it work properly. Second request was in the middle of the night at 4:30 am when the guy at the reception was sleeping in...

”Simply super. Even better you expect based on the reviews. I liked the exiting entrance to the grand very old building, the elevator to take luggage up to the floors, the paintings in the ceilings, the tea and coffee facilities, and the so kind reception. Only issue is the unreliable water pressure.
Location, indeed only 10 minutes flat walk to Borselino bus station, a couple of minutes to Stesicoro or wherever. Still, even the Via Minoriti side room was quiet enough. ”

”We really enjoyed our stay at Etna Suite. Everything worked well, we have nothing to complain about! Staff was very nice and helpful, breakfast was good and plentiful, room was neat and bed good and the location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Catania. Extra thanks to car parking which worked perfectly, the car was even driven by the staff in the small parking lot which made it very convenient. We recommend this hotel!”

”Hotel was nice and clean. Most of the staff spoke english well and were helpful. We were mostly pleased but it was a bummer to find out that the beach that was supposed to be there was out of use at this time.
Location of the hotel was good. It was easy to get to the center of Catania with just one bus.”

”We had booked this hotel for the last night of our 11 day Sicily tour, and I'm so glad we chose this hotel. On arrival, we were upgraded to the suite, as the hotel was full. The suite was beautiful and spacious, located on the top floor of the main building, and it had a big balcony with sunloungers, shower and table overlooking the pool area.
Each member of the staff we encoutered was amazingly corteous, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious.
