”We really enjoyed our stay at the Montecito Inn in the Tower Suite. The room was unique and charming, with two levels that made it feel more like a little apartment than a standard hotel room. The bedroom and bathroom are on different levels, so you do have to go up and down stairs, but if that is not an issue for you, it actually adds to the character and fun of the space. The location was great, the accommodations were comfortable, and we would happily stay there again.”

”Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean room. Really good service. The only complaint concerns the opening times of the swimming pool: it closes already at 9 pm and opens at 9 am. Would’ve liked to take a longer evening swim.”

”It is very bizarre to have the Palmoro House building so far away yet associated with the Mar Monte Hotel. Room was great and fine, just very odd to have the association between the two hotels. If you don't mind the distance from the check in building then this will work for you. The parking lot for Palmoro is incredibly hard to navigate when there are many SUVs in it. It seems like one row of parking should be eliminated, as we watched a few close calls from our balcony. Otherwise we did enjoy...

”The room was intense with bleach, screen door bent so let the flies n bees in to air odor out. Toilet didnt flush, long story trying to get bell hop when left a few hours after check in. Asked for no Mayo at pool cafe, had Mayo loaded up on sandwich:(. ”

”Great location with convenient parking and pet-friendly. Close proximity to walkable downtown streets, stores/shops, restaurants and cafes. Healthy walk to the pier for walkers/runners. Seamless communication with the host as well as check-in process. Highly recommend.”

”This was an amazing location - It was just a short walk to the beach, the pier, the other pier, State Street, cute dining locations. Added bonus was my own covered parking spot for my unit. Perfect 2 bedroom apartment, where I was able to set up my remote work station on the large dining table. It got windy one day and the wifi kept dropping but thankfully the team was quick to respond and I was able to hop onto their other unit's wifi. The only reason I'm doing a 4-star vs 5 is due to the noise...
