”Very friendly welcome to the Inn. Our check in was quick and our room perfect. Very quiet room, spacious and clean. Breakfast was perfect with a small assortment of sliced fruit, yogurt and baked goods. Fresh coffee, water and orange juice also available for self serve. We were greeted and offered "Turkish Eggs" which were delicious, but if we wanted we could also have ordered eggs our way as well. It's a lovely place. Highly recommend a visit and stay if you're in the area.”

”The Inn at Mattei's Tavern exceeded our expectations throughout our stay. The resort is beautiful, with great facilities and amenities. The rooms are large, comfortable, well-appointed with nice amenities. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at Mattei's Tavern and all of the meals were excellent. The diner experience was elevated with sophisticated food and was just excellent. Some of the best meals ever. We will be back.”

”Staff was very friendly and hotel was quiet. Enjoyed the nespresso machine in the room and hammock outside. Wish the air conditioner was better but that’s how it goes with these types of hotels. We will be back!”

"It was a pleasure staying at this hotel. The town itself is super cute, but the hotel is even more charming. There’s a cozy fireplace in the lobby and outdoors, plus a lovely garden with fountains and roses. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and parking very convenient. Thank you, Wine Valley Inn, for your wonderful hospitality. Tip for travelers: plan your drive to or from Santa Barbara during the daytime so you can enjoy the lake views and stop at the CachumaMuseum "
