Hi Samantha First and foremost, I am glad you made your flight. It is crazy that the gate decided all sudden not to work that morning. As the gate was in working order for the previous 3 days of your stay, at least that is what you communicated to me. I hope that if you had any issues during your stay that you would have communicated with me. As you witnessed, we had 4 people physically on site within an hour to solve this gate not responding. As you mentioned the gate has a safety feature for emergency services, although we hope that never has to be used, that did not work either. Simultaneously, we were working on other options to remove the vehicles. We have fixed this issue, and the gate is currently working. We apologize that it took just under an hour to get this resolved. I will take your feedback and will address each issue. I love the fact it is one story as well, not an easy find in the area, and the 4 full size bathrooms are a game changer. We also love the location of the house as well and love the easy access to the freeway and a lot of local activities but also none of that takes away from the mountain feel and quite location. Hi Marla Thank you for staying with us. I strive for perfection with each and every guest, and it seem that we have missed the mark based upon your review and for that I apologize. I would like to respond to the different points within your review as you can see, I had a guest check out the same day you checked in and another guest check in just a day and a half after you check out with no complaints or concerns mentioned, So most of this does catch me a little off guard. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the A.C. unit that arose during your stay. I did reach out to have this situation resolved and communicated when I had heard back from the vendor and the first available time they had. I do apologize that this timeline did not work for your stay. The door off the front bedroom, does not have the ability to be open. I am sorry you struggled with that. Thank you for telling me about the curtains as they must have been moved during the cleaning process. (We had a guest check out the same morning as you checked in). As for the alarm, it is very common to have an alarm and a code that can be disarmed/ silenced during the check in and out process. The BBQ was and has been in working order and did not have an issue previous or even after your stay. I wish you reached out to me so I could have assisted you with this. I will have the dishwasher be looked at. I know the door to the dishwasher is a little heavier than normal, but I will defiantly make sure that it is not falling out of place as you suggest. The area is a very central area, and close to so many thing to explore and do.
