Inside, this vacation rental comprises 1750 square feet of carefully maintained and authentic Santa Fe style design. The craftsman­style trim has been preserved, ceilings are high and the home benefits from many windows along with the southern exposure, providing abundant natural light to the open and airy kitchen, dining, and living spaces. The home easily sleeps six, having three bedrooms with a king bed in each with stylish ensuite bathrooms.  Each room has been individually decorated with quality furnishings, lending unique appeal, and character to the overall interior design scheme. The living room is large, light, and comfortably furnished, and a traditional high, viga­-beamed ceiling. The Adobe Abode Casita received some recent loving care you will enjoy. All of the oak floors were refinished in January of 2016, and much of the interior woodwork as well. The kitchen was also renovated with new cabinets, lights, granite countertops, and top-­end stainless steel appliances-­a joy for the family chef! The table in the spacious dining area is capable of seating eight with ease, more if needed, so invite your new Santa Fe friends to join you in this special place. Other amenities include a fully-equipped laundry facility, custom soaps and bath supplies, satellite television, soft linens, comfy bathrobes, plentiful pillows, and private off-street parking.

A little history: This building was constructed as the 1800s rolled into the 1900s, serving first as the cornerstone of a row of officers' quarters for Fort Marcy, a few blocks away. The original river stone foundation and wall remain solid to this day. Eventually, the fort was deemed unnecessary and the home transitioned to residential use. In 1989 it became a thriving bed and breakfast. The current owners decided to turn it back into a home for you, right in the heart of the historic McKenzie-­Staab neighborhood. At the Adobe Abode, you are placing yourself in the perfect spot to access all that Santa Fe has to offer, with the minimum of effort. Although set in a quiet neighborhood of small shops and homes, you are only a block from the O'Keeffe Museum and the Convention Center. Several exceptional restaurants are near and you are only three blocks from downtown Santa Fe Plaza, multiple museums, churches, and other sites of interest, as well as dining and shopping options galore.

**MID-STAY CLEAN:
We require mid-stay clean(s) for stays of ten nights or more, or once a week depending on the duration of your stay with us. Each mid-stay clean fee is equal to one-half of the exit cleaning fee. The mid-stay cleans will be scheduled by property management prior to your arrival. This cleaning service is a general tidying of the unit in which housekeeping will change out all bedroom and bathroom linens as well as restocking of toiletries and other added amenities.
