”Comfortable and spacious. Easy check in. Within walking distance to the Gaia pier front. Pastry shops nearby. Would have liked more towels and pillows.”

”The stay was okay. The bathroom floor wasn‘t clean and so wasn‘t the floor in our room. You share the kitchen and the bathroom with others. It was nice to have the busstop to the beach and city in front of the apartement.”

”Location is everything here, close enough to all you want to see and do, yet far enough to get the local experience. We are regular VRBO users and also are hosts for our property in the US. Jose contacted us, met us at the unit and the. Asked to take us for a 30 min orientation of the neighbourhood so we knew where everything was. Lots of great information and we went from being in a forest to a welcoming park in the 30 min. Coffee and pasteis de nata. We would definitely recommend this unit...

”We had an amazing time here with a group of 8 friends. Alexandra is a fantastic host - she set up a boat cruise, a private chef and wine tastings for us as well as arranged for us to have a driver. The property is wonderful - better than the pictures even. It was very clean and every bedroom had it's own private bathroom. We will definately be back.”

The only downfall was the kitchen cupboards were very high although there was a step provided it was still difficult, especially for shorter people to get things out.”

”The house was clean and spacious. It’s the end unit and has plenty of light. There are 3 full updated bathrooms. Parking lot is a bit far but we were able to park on the street overnight. Would definitely recommend and stay again if in Porto”

”This place in Gaia is great because we love to walk everywhere. We are a family of 5 with older teens. It is very close to the cables car entrance, which is great at sunset, and close to wonderful restaurants. Douro-Velho was so good that we went there twice for dinner in the short 3 nights that we stayed in Gaia. We are already planning our next trip to Portugal because we really needed more time. And we can’t wait to see it again soon. This is a great place to visit and spend a least a week.”
